I thought the characters were just plain stupid. POSSIBLE SPOILER!!!??? The tape at the beginning said everything they needed to know so I knew exactly what was going to happen at the end. It seemed too unrealistic to me, even though it was a movie.

I gotta get me some of those.

Do we get the ball to start the second half? I missed the first quarter. -
I've went back to Madden 04 recently. I just love playing it. That and MVP 2005 are the only two games I ever play.

This is a pretty decent site..

Central Division Clincher: Front row behind the Sox dugout screaming and celebrating ALDS Clincher: At home with some friends. Pennant Clincher: At home going crazy. World Series Clincher: At the UC and then Bridgeport shortly thereafter. I still can't believe it all happened.

How much of a subscription do you have to buy to get the gifts?

Does anyone else deck out their cars in White Sox gear? I have two bumper stickers, a flag, and a liscense plate frame. I'm going to get some more bumper stickers and window clings soon. Are you showing your Sox pride to the world?

This site has some good stuff.. I've decked my car out with stuff from here.

The biggest size I've seen is XX at Sportmart downtown. Damn those are some big boys.

QUOTE(SSH2005 @ Oct 28, 2005 -> 11:56 PM) Does your girlfriend have a Bobby Jenks-like ass? Haha, no she's not fat, but she has a lot of junk in the trunk. All she had to do was push her way around men and nobody b****ed at us.
-
I was at LaSalle and Randolph, and the parade was pretty cool. All the confeti was really cool. For the rally, I let my girlfriend lead the way with her ass and we got fairly close to the stage. About half a block away. We could barely hear anything, but at least I could see the screen. Overall, it was a really good day.

"The Anti-Bartman" is what ESPN was calling it. If you look at the replay, people were still trying to catch it, but they were at the same level as Uribe and he is obviously taller. The only reason Bartman hit it is because those seats were so high off the ground at Wrigley.

Extra inning game in Detroit where Juan saved the game in the 9th IIRC on a defensive gem and then Frank hit the game winning home run in the 12th or 13th.

QUOTE(Sox Hustler @ Oct 27, 2005 -> 09:25 PM) I REALLY REALLY wish I could go, but I have school. I would take off but I am having trouble in my math class in which I have a quiz tomorrow and I cannot afford to miss. Like most of us I have followed the White Sox every single day of the season and to miss this is very bad. Only to add to this, I know a few people that are actually OFF from school tomorrow. Lucky bastards f***! I'm off school for fall break!!! It is our first day off of school during the regular school week since Labor Day, I'm really lucky. I'm going down with my girlfriend and taking the train. Is the rally close to Grant Park/Milenium Park at all? That's where I'm getting off the train. Isn't it just down Michigan Avenue a little bit to Wacker?

QUOTE(Kalapse @ Oct 27, 2005 -> 04:52 PM) 11:00: Parade Starts at the Cell 12:30: Rally Begins 1:30: Approximate end of the Rally Thanks Kalapse. I'm trying to get my plans straight with the train schedule and everything. It sucks because I have to be home for work at 5, but I'm not gonna show up until 7 because nobody goes to f***ing Dairy Queen at the end of October.

I actually got into an argument with a Cubs fan today during study hall. This kid is one of the "cool" preppy douchbags, and said "Sox only won because they paid someone off" and I just responded with things like "World Champions!" "11-1" "First place every game of the year" and did I mention "WORLD CHAMPIONS!!!"? Ironically he left study hall with a pass shortly thereafter.

QUOTE(greasywheels121 @ Oct 26, 2005 -> 11:53 PM) Guess which game I went to? LOL That happened to my friend too. This kid is a severely pessimistic person and it is hilarious to hear him b**** about going to the only postseason game that we lose.

We win on opening day 1-0 and wrap up the World Series winning 1-0.

Thank you guys for making this season so great. Thank you for suspending me when I was a very frusterated fan who needed a break for a little while. Thank you for accepting me back and being very adult about everything. Thank you Jason for creating this site, and thank you god for making this team so special!

I have to get up in 3 hours or so, but why should I even go to bed? I got no sleep last night and I'm still not tired. And no, it hasn't sank in completely. At some moments I think to myself, we did it. And then I almost start to cry but I just can't. It doesn't want to sink in because I think I'm dreaming. Hopefully it will sink in soon, I can't wait for the parade Friday!!!

It was great, although the first 6 innings were kind of boring and nerve wrecking. After Freddy got that K with the bases loaded, the place was rocking. Me and my Dad left a few minutes after the game because we heading down to Halsted and eventually Bridgeport, screaming "World Championssss" and waving our Sox flag. Unreal.
