  1. QUOTE(Kalapse @ May 27, 2005 -> 05:24 PM) We could all greet them at the Cell on Monday against the Angels. That's what I'm doing, can't wait. The game better be f***ing sold out. 2 first place teams, holiday, afternoon game. I'll be shocked if the game isn't sold out. After a 10 game roadtrip, people better be wanting to get out to the park.
  2. Be sure to go to the inner harbor I think it is. Lots of good food, shops, and entertainment. When I went to Baltimore, it was the weekend before opening day and Maryland was in the final four, so it was a happening place. I liked it when I was there, but there are also some bad spots. The aqarium seemed to be really popular, but we didn't go because the wait was too long.
  3. Instead of greeting them at the airport, just go to the games more. It's much better for the team IMO.
  4. I'm certainly not going to read all 8 pages, but damn this sucks for the cubs. I hate to see anyone get hurt, especially when pitchers injure their pitching arms. Best of luck to him in his recovery.
  5. :banghead :headshake :fyou :fyou :fyou
  6. As soon as Schmidt comes back, Bedard goes down. Sheets is still down. Percy is still down. Vlad is down. Frank is down. Loretta is down for a long time. Berkman has been down.
  7. QUOTE(DonkeyKongerko @ May 26, 2005 -> 11:17 PM) Whoa that was one freaky chick. Those were some mother f***ing bug eyes. Holy Cow, she was scary looking.
  8. QUOTE(rangercal @ May 26, 2005 -> 07:25 PM) If oliver Perez is available in your league , get him now. He was struggling all year. so he may be available in your league. Last year he had a 2.98 era and 239 K's in 196 innings. He's pitching in cincy tonight. If he has a good game he will be picked up fast. I wasted an 8th round pick on him.
  9. QUOTE(SuperSteve @ May 26, 2005 -> 06:08 PM) I am sure he would also have better medical access than you do. Players have come back from worse, who know. We will just have to see. I went to Dr. Bach and he's a White Sox team doctor. I didn't need the surgery, which was good, but if Rauch needs the surgery it would be at least a 4 month recovery and as much as a year. And the injury would probably come back. Best of luck the Jon in his recovery/life after baseball.
  10. He is done. I tore my right labrum and I still can't throw and it's almost been a year. I really feel for him, it sucks major balls to tear the labrum in your throwing shoulder. If he does come back, it won't be for long. The injury is going to keep coming back, as it has for me.
  11. QUOTE(danman31 @ May 26, 2005 -> 04:16 PM) There are two different teams. Illinois Wolves and Illinois Warriors. Scheyer is on the Warriors. Oh ok. They played so many games in Houston it's easy to confuse the teams.
  12. QUOTE(JuiceCruz16 @ May 26, 2005 -> 01:06 PM) It sounds like your talking about F.Y.I. out of Gary. Is your freind the 6'6 soph. from Valpo? Anyway F.Y.I. is ranked #8 last I checked, while Speice was #2. Illinois Warriors with Collins & Schyere (spelling? LOL) was #16. Yeah, they're the FYI players. And yeah, Rob Hummel is his name. They played the Illinois Wolves (he said it was Wolves, but is it Warriors?) in Houston and beat up on them pretty good. I guess Sheyer only had about 8 points that game. Damn, I never would have known that they were the 8th best team in the nation, you would never know it talking to him, he's so modest. Another one of my friends is on that team, another 6'6 soph too. He's hurt with an ankle injury now so he isn't playing for a little bit.
  13. DJ is starting to grow on me. He is so random it can be funny sometimes. He doesn't have too much baseball knowledge like Hawk, but he isn't a huge homer either.
  14. Just got home. It's nice to see Nathan blow a save for the Twins and the Cubs lost to the worst road team in the MLB. Widger picked off. Why was the hit and run on there?
  15. Happy Birthday! *enter a Ross Gload comment here*
  16. It all depends on my work schedule. Usually around 7, but now the Sox are playing out west so an hour or less.
  17. QUOTE(Palehosefan @ May 23, 2005 -> 11:52 PM) If you tell me your friend is on Indy Spiece then I'll REALLY be impressed. They're the something "players" And they beat the Indy Spice. (Oden and a few others weren't there however)
