The Flubbs HAD a good rotation. Now 2 of em are on the shelf. I still think Houston's staff is better even when the Flubbs are at full strength.

There's no need to ration something like oil unless there's a "no s***" national crisis & people having to pay more at the pumps does not qualify. This problem with oil prices is a spike due to mainly to mid-east instability and will subside in due course. The sky is not falling folks.

Not that I'm complaining but how come they took out Loaiza instead of letting him finish? I know his pitch count was at 110 after 8.

I know he had a really big problem with strikeouts in his rehab stint. Is it possible they brought him back too soon?

Valentin with 7 straight K's before finally making some contact & dumping a weak single into short left. At least on the last 2 strikeouts he laid off the curveball & made the opposing pitcher K him with a fastball. Maybe if we send him up there with a telephone pole he'll make some good contact.

I would kiss your ass at the corner of State & Madison at high noon if that ever happened. Botch has been worthless since he got here & 2 or 3 good outings in a row after all the damage he's done isint going to convince me that he's a quality closer. Come talk to me when he has a full season that can be considered successful.

You assume incorrectly. I am 25 years old & make pretty decent money and so what if I found the fighting in the stands amusing?

Crede has been clutch so far despite the low average & he's a second half player anyway. As long as he gets himself a new glove he's cool with me.

A few more nights like tonight & he'll be at the mendoza line in no time at all.

He's on pace for those numbers you talked about but he needs to stop swinging at everything thrown at him.

As much as I take swipes at the guys sometimes there's only a couple of players that I think are useless and need to go. Dumbass Caballo Billy Botch I give some s*** to the other guys when they have a bad day but those are the only 2 I wouldn't mind seeing leave now & making sure the door hit them in the behind on the way out.

If you've read my posts since I came to Soxtalk then you know that I've been one of Valentin's biggest backers but I dont care who it is, if they turn in a s***ty performance, especially one that I paid to go see live, then I'm gonna take some swipes after the fact.

This was my 4th game this season & my 1st on a half price night. As far as I'm concerned the crowd was really into it especially when Shoenweis was set to ge out of a jam or Maggs left the dugout for any reason. Konerko even got a lot of cheers tonight.

The security needs to be beefed up IMO. I thought for sure when all the security guards went running to go after that drunk at the base of the RF foul pole that someone would jump the fence & go through the hole left in the cordon around the field.

Common sense is something else aint it? Thing of it is is that Valentin is notorious for waving at crap pitches like that or popping them up to RF at best. Sometimes he's just painful to watch.

They never came to blows. Fat boy sat down before the black dude could come clean his clock. That one fight that Wunsch was staring at for the longest time was the best though. There were a couple of slobs going at it in the RF bleachers near the concourse & they actually landed a bunch fo really good shots on each other before the security jumped on them.

If you go down 35th street westbound it's not that bad really. That's Bridgeport & its still a pretty nice area.

My fav was the fatass by the base of the RF foul pole. He was trying to goad this black dude into a fight & the whole RF corner area was egging him on. PRICELESS!!!

Anybody sitting anywhere near 1st base better be watching the game when Valentin is playing. There's no telling where that throw is going when he has to move to one side to get to a grounder.

No arm. All the more reason to get rid of the guy. I remember a time very recently when both whoever was in center & Maggs had to come running over to RF to back him up cause he was out there running around in circles on a routine pop fly. He blows ass.

No. What about guys like me that dont have a family but want to come out & enjoy the game? Why should people like me get screwed on price? Are single males nothing but riff raff? BTW, Ligue was a f***ing Flubbs fan.
