Thats the whole reason that we have an electoral college so we avoid having a few populous states deciding the fate of the country. As much as some folks cry about the electoral college process after 2000 it is the best and fairest way to serve the interests of the whole country come election day.

The reason kids, and Americans as a whole, are overweight its because they don't exercise. I've been drinking sodas and eating junk food my whole life ( in moderation of course ) and I am physically fit and the right weight for my height. These schools that are trying to ban sodas and the like are the same ones that are eliminating Phys-ed (remember that?). Being that this is the "Nintendo generation" as I call it and kids spend their free time playing video games inside instead of playing tag or something physically taxing the school systems should be putting more of an emphasis on Phys ed but instead they are eliminating it.

The final finishing choke hold will be applied after this season when the lockout occurs.

I agree with you about Dean but your man Clark has the same problems only difference is so far Clark has managed by and large to keep his mouth shut during the campaign. I also agree about what Bush needs to get re-elected He's got nearly all of that going for him right now and if we find Bin Laden before election day then its Bush in a landslide.

Howard Dean has been exposed for what he really is by his fellow office seekers. He is an angry nut job. Period. If he loses his cool during something simple like a Primary campaign can you imagine this guy under the very real pressures that come with being a President? Give this guy a 9-11 to deal with and he'd crack up and VP John Doe would have to take over. A good leader doesn't lose it under fire and this guy clearly can't hold it together.

I seem to remember him talking about allowing people to invest their social security taxes as they'd like. I didnt hear him say he was going to cut SS to pay for anything. BTW. Who is Daschle to talk about "invisible tax increases" when his party promises to end all the Bush tax cuts including the marriage penalty, death tax, capital gains tax cut etc etc.

No he's not. What he meant was that he was acting to enforce the resolutions the UN passed after the gulf war and singularly failed to enforce.

Bush and the republican congress will never let that happen. The Patriot act makes our country safer and frees our law enforcement agencies to do their jobs. For far too long the government has had a leash shoved up the ass of police and the feds. Not anymore.

Apache choppers are very silent. When one is attacking you wont hear it until its right on top of you and by that time its too late. If they choose to though, they can just use their missiles and rockets to waste you from a standoff distance of several kilometers.
