Its really funny how little all these self styled "baseball experts" like Gammons know about the game. They all are saying KC is going to take the AL central yet they have done next to nothing to improve their totally erratic rotation and little else outside of getting Sullivan who, at least in the 7 or 8 times I saw him pitch live last season, couldn't get anybody out and routinely got the hook faster than a really bad stage performer.

Two factors that will mitigate the schedule toughness that we didnt have going for us last year. Rex Grossman at QB John Shoop being a bad memory. I think we'll do fairly well and be very fun to watch this season.

There's one little problem with the federal government dealing with all those problems you mention. Its called the ........drum roll please....... 10TH AMENDMENT. You know, that little blurb in the constitution about powers not specifically delegated to the federal government are delegated to the states and or localities. How bout letting local law enforcement to handle local issues and letting the federal government deal with national threats.

I found the speech to be a very compelling and upbeat message that truly reflects an America on the rise again after 2 years of war and terrorism. I also found the democratic response highly amusing with Daschle and Pelosi babbling and tripping over their own words. I wonder if they even believed what they were saying half the time.
