If you went to a Hawks game 10 or 15 years ago you would never, in your worst nightmares, could have imagined a Hawks team this bad and a the experience of going to a game this bad. Not only have they f***ed over all their good players and run them out of town, they even f***ed over Wayne Messmer for Christ sakes. They don't hit anymore, they don't score anymore, they don't play D any more and they damn sure don't fight anymore. What's the f***ing point? Now the only time they can draw is when St. Louis or Detoilet comes to town and Hawk fans are out numbered and out cheered by the outsiders.

Growing Pains?? This team has been rebuilding since the 1997-98 season. Enough is enough already.

They won't, at least not consistently. The players don't give a s***, the coaches don't give a s*** and the management REALLY doesn't give a s*** if this team wins or loses so why should the fans. If the fans really cared about the team they would boycott the UC until things change.

Right you are and things won't get any better unless the fans stay the hell away from the UC and hurt Dollar Bill in the pocketbook. If you start seeing "crowds" of 5000 a night then maybe things might change. If he's still drawing 10-11 thousand he is still making some money so he will go right on screwing the fans over.

In a perverse way I kinda miss having the Soviets around because at least with them you knew who the enemy was, where he lived and how to kill him should it become necessary. Nowadays the enemy, Islamic terrorists, have no homeland to protect so M.A.D. isin't viable, they are motivated by religion, or their perverse interpetation of it, so death means nothing to them and it takes a great deal of resources and effort to keep them from attacking us.
