This seems ironic somehow, but I can't quite put my finger on why.

Dog I've felt the pain before of losing one of these big BCS games (1999, 2001, and last year), and I might feel it later, and all I can say is it sucks watching time run out on such a great season. As it gets closer and closer to end panic sets in momentarily, but you realize it's not the end of the world. After those big title game losses, I made sure to wear a FSU shirt the next day, so I know what you mean about bein proud. An unfortunate ending, but overall not a bad season for the Wolverines.

In my uneducated opinion, Bon Scott had the coolest voice I've ever heard.

Are we really that afraid of slander that we need 120 mods patrolling at all times? The chances of mods even having to do stuff are slim if they don't overtep their bounds. Sad to see it go but it was cool while it lasted. The best was this past summer when I kept touting Rowand via AIM while everyone told me to shut up. A few innings later Rowand homered to make it like 10-1 (Sox losing) and when I piped back up everyone yelled WHERE WAS HE FOUR INNINGS AGO WHEN THE BASES WERE LOADED Ah well it was a stellar program, maybe you can start it back up again if you ever get fired?

I was watching the game and I noticed at the time that he was talking all slow and loud, but the idea that he was drunk didn't even cross my mind (which is odd, because I can usually spot them well, and he was obviously pretty far in the bag).

Sauerbeck and Almonte (I'm assuming you mean Hector) are both terrible. Sauerbeck gives up huge innings and Almonte knows one pitch, fastball. It's really fast (8K/9IP with MON) but it's also perfectly straight (6.83), he's a poor-man's Billy Koch. Edit: Whoops, maybe you didn't. But everyone got a bonus scouting report on Hector.

Right now I think it's between us and the Royals, and the Sox have the better pitching just like last year (though another starter or two wouldn't hurt). The lineup needs to be improved a bit (mainly 2B, leadoff, bench) or there will be more 1-0 losses in Detroit due to lack of a real catalyst.

I agree we should get Simon since we got rid of Daubach. Simon is good for all the reasons Brando listed plus the fact that provided one of the funniest moments I've ever seen.
