I was not offended by your posts as much as Sox2004's. The reason he's doing better is because he IS a better player than LaFrentz. That is my contention, you can rag on him all you want but the fact remains that they made a dumb trade. And even with numbers that are down from his career averages, he is still much better than Raef. LaFrentz is a career .356% 3 point shooter, but is only shooting .200% this year, his FG pct is right on with his career pct (.459% to .460%), and his free throw pct is better. Yet he still is not close to as good as Antoine. People contended that the Celts got the better of this trade, and when I said that wasn't true, they jumped on me. It's obvious now that a guy who scored 20 pts a game for you last year is more valuable than one who scores 8 a game this year, and vice versa.
