QUOTE(ChiSoxyGirl @ Jan 21, 2005 -> 12:16 PM) Legally, you can't give consent when you're drunk. Well I assume you would have to be legally drunk for the consent to not be legal. But there aren't many rock solid ways of knowing whether someone was legally drunk at the time.

First of all, she reported it to Canadian police on January 13th of this year. Second of all, he got his doctorate from UMass, not Pitt. Lastly, just because he gave her pills doesn't mean that's why she was "dizzy". What she is implying is that he gave her a date rape drug. I don't know the man very well but I question whether a man who's almost 70 years old has a stash of GHB for special occasions such as this. And anyway if he did touch her like she says he did, who knows what she consented to but somehow can't remember. Maybe she was drunk, maybe it was GHB, who knows. But waiting a year to report it makes it his word against hers. If she had reported it right away they could have run tests or something.

QUOTE(winodj @ Jan 19, 2005 -> 01:00 PM) How can you say a smart hamburger is not a hamburger. Is a smart bomb not still a bomb? Intelligence does not define who you are. Who you are does. He is at the very least part hamburger... and unless McDonaldland was created in the shadow of Three Mile Island, there are no known hamburger-human mutations. In the same way that a cow is not called a walking hamburger, even though it does contain hamburger. It has bones and a digestive system and a brain and all that junk. A walking, intelligent hamburger is no longer a hamburger; it's a cow, or it's Mayor McCheese.
-
QUOTE(winodj @ Jan 19, 2005 -> 12:50 PM) How can you say they are not that different? The hamburglar eats hamburgers? Mayor McCheese IS a hamburger. Just a smart one. Maybe it's the special sauce. Seriously, all this Hamburglar persecution here. Have you ever thought he might be a product of a broken home, disadvantaged at birth by some reason, maybe its a mental condition? Have you noticed his speech impediment? Maybe that's related. Honestly, we have to address the root causes of crime in McDonaldland to get to the real bottom of this issue. In the words of my compatriots, Robble robble robble. Robble! Yes but a smart hamburger with arms and legs and a mouth and a brain isn't really a hamburger anymore. Part of what defines a hamburger is the lack of those very elements. Mayor McCheese, I think, is closer to a mutant human than he is a hamburger.
-
QUOTE(winodj @ Jan 19, 2005 -> 12:21 PM) The Hamburglar is very obviously not a cannibal. It's clear to anyone that he is not the same species as Mayor McCheese or the Big Mac policeman. So perhaps he hunts them for sport. Well that depends on how you define them. They're either Hamburgers with arms and legs or mutant people. After all, they can move and talk so they must have a brain in there somewhere. Or I guess the X factor is that their species of talking hamburger has yet to be discovered. But all in all they are not that different from the hamburglar.
-
The Hamburglar is McDonald's very own crackhead. Arrest him for petty burger theft and he'll just be back on the street tomorrow doing it all over again. McCheese knows it's a lost cause, but what he should really be worried about is the Hamburglar going cannibal and eating the mayor himself.

Yeh blades of steel is messed up.

Actually I think they took it off the list because everytime the computer goes to punt they just run around in circles and demolish your whole team.

QUOTE(Mr. Showtime @ Jan 17, 2005 -> 11:53 AM) No. I found it after I posted that. It wasn't on the list but I typed in the name anyway. http://www.everyvideogame.com/play/nintend..._Super_Bowl.htm

Did anyone find Tecmo Super Bowl anywhere on that site?

QUOTE(kapkomet @ Jan 16, 2005 -> 07:48 PM) Well, where's Spiff? Tom Brady is no doubt god and Payton Manning sucks big ass hotdog weiners for yet another year. Something like that.
-
QUOTE(backman @ Jan 16, 2005 -> 11:48 AM) you say that but when it happens, i'll be expecting an apoligy for your statement.
-
QUOTE(backman @ Jan 16, 2005 -> 11:38 AM) a indy touchdown to start off the game a few punts for new england one more touchdown for indy and bam you already have to abanden your running game (new england), new england will be forced to pass, and any defense no matter what their rank, can stop something if they know its coming. That's the dumbest argument I've heard yet.
-
QUOTE(backman @ Jan 16, 2005 -> 12:13 AM) indy almost won with there less then average defense in the first game of the year, and indy has made great strides up to this point and has a much better defense with the sack leader dfree and a more confident secondary, that plays the short pass. plus, troy brown will be two tired chasing indys recivers and running back the many many kickoffs, to burn any of indies corners. Troy Brown doesn't run back kickoffs, but nice try anyway. Less than average defense? Try 29th in the league. Robert Mathis is questionable. The Patriots have Corey Dillon now. But whatever people wanna think is fine by me.

QUOTE(Jeckle2000 @ Jan 15, 2005 -> 07:34 PM) I cannot stand the Jets... On the list of teams who deserve a playoff win least the Jets top it. Of course their kicker licks balls so.... And somehow Herman Edwards doesn't realize that his kicker sucks
-
Herm Edwards is such an idiot. Doug Brien has never had a leg that strong and yet you try it anyway. God. What a reject.

QUOTE(AddisonStSox @ Jan 15, 2005 -> 06:30 PM) Sour grapes. This is the best team in the country until proven otherwise. You've just witnessed it today. Oskee-Wow-Wow Oskee-Wow-Wow? Congrats, you're also owners of the gayest chant in America. -
QUOTE(greasywheels121 @ Jan 15, 2005 -> 05:53 PM) I think NE's defense is depeleted enough that Indy can get the job done. The field's not going to make a big difference tomorrow. The field's been covered the past couple nights, and it's supposed to be a dry 35 degrees tomorrow. Peyton had a pretty decent game in the first week of the season, and Indy's been on a roll since. I think Indy's hot enough right now, and NE's depleted enough in the corners that Indy will put up more points in the game. Randall Gay will haunt your dreams.
-
QUOTE(greasywheels121 @ Jan 15, 2005 -> 05:44 PM) They're very Tom Brady-esque numbers if you ask me. And that's my point whenever this arugment's come up. Brady plays for the better TEAM. Brady doesn't have to do much at the QB position to get the Pats a win, because they have a solid defense. Trent Dilfer would be the next Joe Montana, if he was in New England. Peyton gets blamed for a lot of things that he can't help. Peyton didn't give up the 24 to NE and JAX, and the 45 to KC this year. If Brady plays for a better team why are you picking the Colts?
-
QUOTE(greasywheels121 @ Jan 15, 2005 -> 04:27 PM) Let's see what the numbers are at the end of the game. Peyton's numbers in the first NE game of the season: 16/29, 256 Yds, 2 TDs, 1 INT...Colts lost 27-24. Peyton's numbers in the loss to JAX: 27/39, 368 Yds, 3 TDs, 0 INTs....Colts lost 27-24. Peytons numbers in the loss to KC: 25/44, 472 Yds, 5 TDs, 1 INT...Colts lost 45-35. I guess it's Peyton's fault that we lost those games..... :rolly :headshake Alright now go look up the P-man's numbers against New England last year :rolly :rolly :rolly :rolly :rolly :rolly
-
So if they win it's because of Manning, but if they lose it's not Manning's fault? Ok.

McCants is the reason they're down so much but goddamn Chris Paul has to be the best of a really really deep bunch of ACC point guards. -
QUOTE(hammerhead johnson @ Jan 15, 2005 -> 02:47 PM) Yeah, but so what. Does this mean that guys like Trent Dilfer, Mark Rypien, Brad Johnson, Jeff Hostetler, Doug Williams, and Jim McMahon are better than Manning? It takes a team. He HAS a team. What he doesn't have in his career, college or pro, is a championship. And his ridiculous contract isn't gonna help them build a better team.
