When I first heard that they were using that song, I thought to myself, "thats a really dopey song...they better have a good drinking story behind it". After hearing Rowand's explanation, I'm totally down with it. Cool story. I know this is really simplifying things, but if we can manage to score at least 4 runs a game, we're in good shape. Their lineup is really unimpressive. And being that our offense appears to be on a roll right now, I like our chances.

There were things about both teams that scared me. Decided that it wouldn't matter. If we play like we have if the first two rounds, we'll be ok.

And, for at least this year, I believe that Ozzie has done that and then some. Congrats Ozzie!

If it aint broke...

I like the idea of Billy Pierce throwing out the first pitch. Being that for reasons past understanding he didn't get to start in the '59 World Series, I think it would be fitting tribute.
