That was fun. Running game was strong and they played within themselves. Fields wasn’t great but he made enough plays and protected the football. Defense was stellar.

I still take it. Who knows what will happen. I bet iowa somehow loses a game before the big championship but who knows. Schedule looks good and the d is awesome. I expect oline and ground game will only get better and hopefully qb can make enough plays. Do I think they are the 2nd or 3rd best team in country…no…but I will enjoy the run while it lasts!!!

Really curious to see how Fields plays on Sunday. Stadium is going to be crazy loud and will be good to see how Fields does In his second road game and what progress he makes. Similar to last week, I expect to see some splash/wow plays but probably a bit more ugh plays where he holds onto the rock too long / gets caught off guard by d. Interested to see Herbert and expect to see Fields get that first td pass. Expecting Kmet to have his biggest game as a bear. Time for him to come through. In end expect a loss but something in my body is telling me get ready to be surprised…

One game at a time. Forget last two games…play some ball. Clean baseball. Don’t give up any at bat, execute in the field and throw strikes.

He felt like the fans here who panicked and thought Sox needed to make a massive move so he was like oh let me give up all these peeps to get a closer cause it’s all I got. Was totally unnecessary. Don’t get me wrong I wouldn’t have made any trade other than what they had already done at that point so people would be ripping me for other reasons but I would be like it’s all good cause I got money and flexibility to go after someone else in off-season.

This team needs Ventura. He actually positioned pretty well from what i remember. But yes - this is glaring and the club is getting crushed by the little things which go pretty significantly in the analytics.

He ripped the ball to 3rd in one of his at bats and was just a hang with em + great defensive play by Bregman too. Lets be honest - Astros defense and advanced analytics have been a major difference in this series. Sox are up a few more runs today with better positioning on D combined with Astros D not being perfect. Yesterday's game is a lot tighter if the D played cleaner.

Can I ask a stupid question. Baseball got rid of the neighborhood play..right? Cause I swear on Grandals double play Correa was not just physically on 2nd base when he caught the ball to turn the dp.

They need a special teams player I just don’t see need to use draft capital for it. This team isn’t going anywhere super far at this point.

Defense played well and offense was better. Fields still was a tad slow on decision making at times - but also threw some dimes and had some special plays. Nice to see the Mooney I expect all year and Robinson showed up finally later on as well. Hopefully Montgomery injury not a tear. But nice bounce back performance and nice to see how Fields responded to that kind of adversity after his first start.
