On the Royals telecast the announcers said JD took part in the stretches and the pre game warmups. I assume this is one of those things where when JD says he's ready, Ozzie will give him an extra day or two just as a precautionary measure.

Nice way to start the game. Sox got in 5. Now its time for Jon Jon to shut down them Royals.

I think we are getting closer to the time when Hybrid technology becomes a financial savings to consumers. By that I mean where the price of buying a hybrid car becomes worth it in terms of the gas you save. As that happens (and they continue to make strides and they continue to release new hybrid cars) we will see people still driving the same all while using vastly more efficient cars, meaning we may actually be able to decrease our demand on Petro. But thats just the short-mid range solution as we still need to figure out a new source, but its not going to be super easy as once it is developed and considered safe and backed by all the auto manufacters and everyone else, you then need to completely overhaul gas stations. Its going to be a process I'm sure.
