I don't get it. He played part of the season so why should he get an entire share? -
JOY, Luol Deng with a pretty reverse on a nice pass by Ben Gordon. I am starting to really like Gordon and Hinrichs ability to penetrate and dish. Deng is one of the most polished players around the hoop that the Bulls have had in a long time. Seriously, other then Kendall Gill, the past couple years I've never seen a team miss more layups and close buckets. Luckily Deng is usually pretty good. Davis gets called for an offensive foul, but then Kobe picks up his 4th on the other end with an offensive foul.

Oh s***, Pippen is doing the Tv tonight? Damn it, Im stuck listening to the Lakers announcers. Although they have been talking quite a bit about the poor calls that have hurt the Bulls. Of course at the same time all they do is drool over Kobe.
-
All I can say is give the f***ing ball to Curry.
-
Duhon then lays it in and they call charging instead of a blocking foul. Replays shows Jumaine Jones was inside the protected area. Then the Lakers go down and tie it up at 74.

Kobe Bryant is showing why I hate the NBA. As usual he starts taking every f***ing shot and getting bailed out by the officials.

Speaking of Pedro it looks more and more likely he's going to go back to Boston. I heard today on ESPN News I think that they were going to give him his 3 yr deal that would be similar to what the Mets offered. If thats the case I don't see him leaving Boston. However if the Boss comes a calling, Pedro is going to listen. Also, based on what you posted Tony, that deal doesn't sound as bad. Halsey, Vazquez, cash, and Gordon would be fair for the yanks. Although they would be giving up a ton of cash (wowzers). Heck, KW get your butt on the phone now if they are willing to give that type of cash lets see how much they'll pay of Browns contract.

Ben Gordon missed a wide open dunk. Skiles was "beside" himself.

Bears Sign Alex Brown to a 5 Year Extension
Chisoxfn replied to Chisoxfn's topic in Alex’s Olde Tyme Sports Pub
Usually I'd agree, but Rdub has played very very well the past 4-5 weeks. For every knock I have on Rdub I can safely say he's been the Bears best corner the past 4-6 weeks and it isn't even close. Vasher has made some plays but Rdub has had good coverage almost every play while Vasher still gets beat on the rookie mistakes. The Bears are going to have a very good secondary next year. However, I want to see Tillman play like he did at the end of last year and not like he did this year before getting hurt cause he was getting burned early in the season. -
All I know is the Bulls have this super high expectations for Curry, but statistically he's one of the best centers in the East and incredibly young. He worked his ass off this offseason and got suspended the first two games and was playing injured early in the season. All of a sudden trade reports came off. Curry is well worth it and he's going to prove it by continually getting better this season. As far as Chandler goes, I think his offense is a lost cause and he'll get money from someone and isn't worth it. Bulls will end up shipping out AD and Chandler sometime this year, IMO. Maybe for Glenn Robinson or someone else with an ending contract that will give the Bulls plenty of financial flexibility.
-
Plus he's signed to a very very affordable deal. I will agree with you on that. I still say Sox need to add two good relievers. If they don't they'll be in for another s***ty bullpen, imo.
-
Middle of the 3rd quarter and they are looking good. Curry has played outstanding while Chandler has looked strong too. Bulls should not deal Curry. He's getting better almost every game from the low post.
-
You may be right. Would Marte/Konerko/Garland for Hudson and Dotel be something you all would consider? I think Oakland would have to accept that. I hate giving up Marte though, but if they give him up they better at the very least get Dotel.
-
Their ownership/gm is so screwed up. They may have a world series ring but I feel sorry for that franchise. They are being ran into the ground and might as well be contracted because of their poor business decisions. That team is so far in debt it isn't even funny.
-
I wonder what Beane wants, if its prospects, power hitting, or what. If the Sox picked up Hudson and signed a FA pitcher then wow. Assuming Garland is a part of a deal. The one thing that worries me is the lack of relief names I've heard. The Sox drastically need to upgrade the pen. Farnsworth would be a nice start, but they need two pickups, imo. A pen with Diaz, Cotts, Adkins and Politte all contributing heavily isn't a pen I like.

Ok, think of it this way. Vazquez, Chacon, 19.5 mill, and a prospect. That seems doable, well it would if the Rocks didn't know they now hold the Yanks by the balls and could ask them for pretty much anything. I think the hold up has to be on money and if they are going to do all that they aren't gonna send that much cash. Still the Dbacks probably think George wants him that bad. But they'll be in shock when no team makes that offer and they either have to significantly drop the price or wait till midseason (and god forbid he's hurt then) cause then the Dbacks are royally screwed because he becomes a FA and can leave. I know he likes Arizona, but the org has treated him like s*** during the past year (allegedly). I could see him moving on.

I know someone (think it was palehosefan) posted some links of some of the top qb recruits in the country immediately becoming interested in ND, this is upon speculation that Meyer becomes their next head coach.

Bears Sign Alex Brown to a 5 Year Extension
Chisoxfn replied to Chisoxfn's topic in Alex’s Olde Tyme Sports Pub
Well Urlacher is expected to play (listed as questionable) and Tillman has been announced the starter this week with Rdub moving to Nickel back and Vasher as the dime back. -
Well I guess that ends that. Time for Kenny to move on, imo. On a side note, while Johnson isn't going to be a Yank. Tim Hudson has demanded a contract extension by March 1st or he will not resign with the A's. He said he doesn't want a similar situation to Giambi or Tejada. KENNY, DO IT. Hudson would look fantastic. Hell, just think him and PK already have chemistry since they were in that ESPN commercial a while back I wonder what would get Hudson. Would PK be involved, would Lee be involved. Could a bigger deal exists with Hudson and Dotel coming to Chicago. Only thing I worry about is a potential Beane fleecing. Sometimes he does amazingly well, othertimes you can get him.

Holy s***. Upon this revelation the Dbacks are absolutely freaking nuts. The more I thought about it I was thinking a Vazquez, Gordon, Duncan swap with the cash would of been a good deal for them. LMAO at their demands. If I were any team I'd tell em to f off.
-
Fantastic news in one sense of the imagination. If New York, St. Louis and Anaheim all drop out it leaves the Dbacks with a little slimmer pickings. I'm guessing the real hold up was the Dbacks wanted the Yanks to give either a lot of cash or get a 3rd team involved for Vazquez. To this day I think the Sox package would be more then fair, we'll just have to wait and see, but all of a sudden, the odds are better.

Ya, its a little late. Just waiting to get the license taken care of for the new software version.

Seems like a good deal. I wonder what type of money he got.
