  1. Perez would definately have to be a factor and I think you'd have to count Clement as a possibility on the free agent market as well. Jermaine Dye is going to be a major factor, imo.
  2. I also thought he was a free agent, but then I read the article on Chicagosports today and saw his name not on their for those offered or declined. But ya Cheat, reading between the lines it sounds like they would like to bring Scho back, but the question is will he be willing to be a team player and pitch out of the pen. Im' telling all of you, get him signed at 1.25-1.5 million and now we have one of the better bullpens in all of baseball. No doubt about it in my mind. It would be a major coup. If the Sox don't reach a contract with him by then, then I'm assuming he's gone and the Sox will non-tender him simply because they won't want the distraction of having him on the roster if he doesn't want to be a reliever.

Steff, if it helps, I may be meeting up with one of my friends tonight and she's a doctor, her dad is also a doctor and she knows her stuff pretty well. She's still really young, but I'll ask her if I see her tonight. Hopefully its nothing serious, sorry to hear about him passing out. It may be one of those things where you have to take a pill the rest of your life but everything works out fine (my grandpa has something like this).
  4. Oh ya, OU's defense should help controll USC's offense as best as possible, but at the same time USC's one major weakness is their rush defense, imo, and having Peterson is going to prove a major factor. Still, I look for this game to be oustanding, kind of like the Miami-OSU game a couple years back.
  5. Nah, I think its just 4 guys going to NYC. Bush/Leinart; Peterson/White

Steff if it does happen to be a heart murmur don't get too concerned. You just get a test ran and usually its nothing too severe. I have a minor one that was found like a year ago and my doc said their was nothing to worry about. Said a lot of people have them and never even know it.
  7. Had White not been so good last year, I would of went with Peterson based on the belief that Peterson helped open things up for him this year. However, White did a hell of a job last year and did it again this year. So I'm assuming the running back, while its definately helpful to White, wasn't the reason he put up good numbers again. Peterson is the reason why I think OU is gonna win the national championship though. White/Peterson is an unbeliavable combo. Reggie Bush is possibly the most explosive football player in college football though.
  8. Haha, I was just in the midst of posting this same poll Personally I'm going with Jason White. Put up great numbers and came threw late in the season and the voters all will of noticed Leinart having a subpar day against UCLA while White had a fantastic game. My 2nd choice would be Peterson who was absolutely amazing for OU.
  9. Wow, something must be up with him. He's usually one of the best in the business. Hell, If I were the Bears I'd of signed him soley for kickoffs.
  10. Jesus, no wideout is worth nearly 10 mill a year. Regardless I'm sure he won't make all of that money, but still, lots of money. On a sidenote I saw Martin Grammatica signed with the Colts? When the hell did the Bucs waive him and I must of missed something but did he all of a sudden start struggling or something?
  11. Just want to note Matt Morris got a 2.5 million dollar deal. Very good value signing, imo. Kevin Millwood will probably get a similar contract.
  12. Anaheim and Boston are two.

Is it another word for heart murmur? Or minor heart murmur?
  14. Koch didn't put up bad numbers with the Marlins. Their are far worse relievers out their, imo.
  15. Ya, I figure the same thing.
  16. Want to say welcome aboard. Disagree with your lineup, sure it would look nice, but the ways of getting it just aren't worth it.
  17. Mantei's contract is supposedly 1yr/750K Pretty good move by the BoSox if you ask me.
  18. Those would be two very good moves by the Padres.
  19. Was going to point out their are some reports that Nomar turned down a multi year deal with the Angels. Personally I think thats 100% BS, cause I can't see him accepting a one year deal in Chicago, rather then getting to play in Anaheim unless the Angels only offered him like 6 mil a year.
  20. Its in my blog too, lol. I think the Dye signing is, judging by Kenny's reaction on the radio. The silence followed by laughter.
  21. Just think about it this way. What radio station, beat writer, or anyone had reported or mentioned Hermanson and the White Sox in the same breath....ZERO. Thats flying under the radar for you. It does seem that their is some truth to the Dye rumors though.
  22. Another guy you could plug in at 1st/DH if Konerko gets dealt, even though I want Gibbons, is Brad Fullmer. Pretty solid hitter when healthy. Not a good defensive first baseman though. He's a DH in my book.
  23. Thats how I wouldn't mind seeing things go down. Assuming the Sox could get a good starter for Konerko.
