Interesting.

f***..Orioles take the lead on a single. Orioles come through everytime a runner is on...Sox absolutely blow thus far in that situation. Their numbers continue to get worse with runners in scoring position. Come on Elo, end the inning and let the bats break through.
-
One hopper to Uribe and two outs. Runner now on 3rd.
-
Mora with a broken bat ground out to Dransfeldt which ties the game. One out though and the runner stays on 2nd. Tejada now up
-
I think its more likely that Reed ends up in left eventually. However, its all too early to say cause Anderson won't be here next year either or at least I don't think he will be. Reed will be the starting centerfielder next year.
-
Well the Sox can't keep failing in those situations. However, it does look like they will get to the O's bullpen early. Roberts rips a double and runners are on 2nd and 3rd now with no one out.
-
Konerko battles the count full, but strikes out on a ball. It was an inside slider or curve. I think it was a curve that had slider like movement.

I'll spare the trade talk for now, but I'd do all I can to amke sure Jose, Juan and Willie get consistent playing time. Willie is the leadoff hitter and I want him in their every day or damn near every day. He should replace Timo as the part time centerifelder while also playing 2nd base often. Juan should play 2nd and fill in at short. I wouldn't get too adamant about trading Lee just yet. He'll heat up.

Did you all know the Sox are 2 for their last 24 with runners in scoring position? I know that is somethign that will change (these hitters are too good for that) but it really says something that the Sox have somehow been winning despite that awful job of getting guys home. Come on Sox bats, two out rally time. Carlos shorten your damn swing.

Frank pops up to Raffy.

Agreed

See my gripe is that Willie needs to get more playing time. He just reached based and I realize he may not be a great hitter against lefties, but I still think he's a better hitter then Dransfeldt, either way. Plus, Jose is going to be coming up in a few days and thats going to limit the playing time of Juan and Willie so until then, I want those two playing as much as possible. Of course I am not my usual self and am saying this after the fact instead of before, however its how I felt before seeing Kelly fail with the bases loaded (not saying Willie would of done any better).
-
Kelly really tried to do too much with the bases loaded instead of taking what the pitcher game him. At 2-0 their is no way he should of been swinging.
-
I'd say that was his best game of the season thus far. Way to go BMAC
-
Its 2-1 now on a sac fly by Tejada. Anyone notice Lee is very slow when it comes to throwing. That and his arm is incredibly weak for a guy that used to play 3rd base.
-
Cripes, that was a mixup. Olivo made a good throw and no one was their. Looking at the replay he would of been gone had someone covered. I guess thats what happens when neither players have really ever played with each other. Hopefully Elo can get out of this unscaved somehow and Juan and Kelly now know whose going to cover.

OEO Magglio with a 2 run homer

Ya, this year its giong to be more focus on the teams and which playesr are really stepping up and which ones aren't. However, were going to have a Hot List and Cerb is going to head that up. It will be more of a biweekly feature and it will look aside projections and strictly focus on stats.

I haven't heard anything from Kanny in regards to anything with Orionny, but I haven't got the press release announcing he had been sent back to extended spring training, so something more could be in there. Jim, that sounds like a really cool idea. I'll try to work on that once I'm done with all the business of the last few weeks of school. Although I think it would have to be something after the MLB draft, cause after I finally get the Top 50 all formatted (with the awesome help of Danman whose been a lifesaver with that) then I'm going to focus on some draft previews and then the draft review. Great to see BMAC with a great outing so far.
-
To be honest, I couldn't tell you for sure. I thought he also throws a cutter and changeup on ocassion, but thats going off the top of my head.

I got till the end of May...then I get like 3 days off (GOING TO VEGAS...HELL YA) and then I got summer school till July 5th. After that my summer break begins and goes till late August.
-
I was right, he went to the Indians. Here was a blurb about him on May 1st: Bobby Howry has been taking part in extended spring training while recovering from elbow surgery, according to the Akron Beacon Journal. "The reports on him are good," Wedge said. "He will pitch in (Triple-A) Buffalo in early May." He could return to action by mid-May.
-
I thought he went to the Indians organization and I'm not sure if he's still their. After that he may of went to the Dodgers, but not positive on that.

Guys, I'm gonna take the flip side here. I've seen Kenny talk with Kelly before and the two seemed to have a joking type of relationship and really seemed to get along. I think their is more to this then we see, but I don't think it has anything to do with Kenny being upset with Kelly. Just my 2 cents and I'm basing it on one thing I've seen, so take it for what its worth.

Ya, Milkman was an integral part of the 2000 team if I recall. I know Barcelo was pitching pretty good two winter balls ago (it may of even been this winter ball) and Baldwin is in the Twins organization or something like that. Couldn't tell ya where Simas is (dodgers had him at a point last year), but I thought Howry was with the Tribe or something like that. And Perry has been with the Rangers ever since. Thats off the top of my head. I really love that feature though. Caruso takes me back.
