Right now he's penciled in as a starter in Birmingham I think. The Sox are stretching him and Munoz out.

Thats freaking sharp.

Hey Chisoxfan, didn't that NFL-Fans site used to have a Bears subforum? Is it gone or am I just blind and I can't see it. Either way, its a good site, me likey.

Maybe this will convince Jerry to up the payroll

Thanks for coming Jim...that was a lot of fun!!!!

No, hop on it...its been a real blast.

Sonix, don't you worry, we'll get a transcript of it up for those that can't make it or can't get in

If Wunsch goes on the DL, I'd have to think Cotts makes the team.

The other thing that scares me is that our bullpen is already awful. I already don't have faith in Koch or Tagatsu. For some reason I got faith in Politte, evne though he stunk last year (Luckily not for the Sox). I don't like the rotation, but I can live with it, even though I have no faith in Elo right now and am a little nervous about Scho, but liked what I saw from his new pitches in spring, but god, that bullpen scares the hell out of me. Marte and Wunsch are two consistent weapons and I sure hope they stay healthy and stay on their game, cause its going to be needed...big time.

I'd have to think if Hawk was in, that they told the players mentioned in the trade ahead of time.

I'd have to think if the Sox are going to carry Cotts on the roster, it wouldn't be as a lefty specialist. I mean Munoz could always make the jump, but the Sox are going to be stretching him into a starter or at least figure that it will be for the better for him to pitch out of the rotation for the time being. I don't think Sanders has proven he's deserving of the job and Scho could easily fill that slot with cotts moving to the pen (But the Sox could do this now if they think Cotts is ready). This ultimately has me believing the Sox would get a starter, but the other question is, what would we get for Wunsch, who in my book has some pretty damn good value. He is a very sucessful lefty specialist and a great guy.

Well, Today, thanks to the phony Griffey rumor the site set a new high for users online with 115. But last month, we set a new high for hits in a month with 4.6 million hits (4,612,976 to be exact). I just want to thank all the other admins, mods, and members for making this possible. If it wasn't for all of them, this site wouldn't be what it is today. So remember, tell your friends and keep on coming...who knows, maybe one day the Sox will win it all

Very good move. They replace Villy with him, nice, very nice. Villy got more money too. Brown is older and probably on the downside, but he's still a very good guard and a great addition for a million a year.

Well Bradley is one of the more productive centerfielders in the game. He also had vowed to have an improved attitude and had been perfect this spring until that incident. If the Indians are just dumping him, then I can't pass up on a guy of his nature. The guy can flat rake the ball. Don't ask me where you'd play him though, cause I like Rowand. Of course Bradley in the two hole would be awesome. If the Sox could get Bradley, I'd swing Thomas to a part time 1st baseman and let the 4 outfielders (Rowand, Maggs, Bradley and Lee) all get ocassional games at DH with Gload playing a little first and swap Konerko for Perez (I think it could happen).

Nothing that I've heard of yet. I am still guessing it will be someone like Dennis Ulacia. I'd have to think a pitcher is on the move because of the sheer volume of pitchers the Sox have right now. I remember Bullard saying that in general, the Sox have too many players right now.

*Stolen From KipWellsPost* For those who missed it in the Game Thread. On the radio the Sox announcers said that they heard that Kenny is trying to trade Kelly Wunsch. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Now, with all this april fools crap going around, who knows if this is true, but if it is, then book it, the Sox will either use Cotts in the 5 hole (With Scho as the other lefty reliever) or they will be adding another starter (Odalis Perez, Washburn, Ortiz).
-
I'd still love to see the Sox get their hands on Odalis Perez. The guy is going to have a monster season this year. He was awesome two years ago and he will be very good again this year. Last year was due to him pitching so many more innings then ever before the prior year. He's a different type of lefty then Buehrle, but still has very good control (I think he only has 2 walks all of spring).

Looking awesome

Luckily I wasn't around to get drawn into the hype.

I went with the A's, but where is the Mussina, Brown, Vazquez cause that, if all are healthy is a pretty stellar top 3.
-
I highly doubt it. He was amazing in college and they do so much drug testing their that it would be really hard to get away with it.

South Park last night was funny (Other then the Mel Gibson part) but the week befores was one of the funniest South park's ever. That was classic when Jimmy is like....Steroids are for Pu-Pussies and then the camera pans over Big Mac, Bonds and Giambi and they just have these dumb stares on their face. And Cartman with the cool-aid shirt on and his styling helmet. Man that was comedy.

Has anyone else told these stars that the show SUCKS now.
