Alomar is also an awesome two strike hitter and has typically worked the count hard. So he didn't come through, why the f*** was Olivo up there. Its perpostorous. That was a close call. Come on Marte, work through the heart of the order.

Big Difference, Olivo chases everything at the plate and has looked awful for weeks. No way do I let him hit there, not when the bench is full pretty much. Now come on Marte, lets take this to the 10th.

For a rent-a-player? Are you kidding? There is no way Vlad will stay here. We are not paying someone more than Maggs, which is the kind of money that they would want. That was hypothetical and I wouldn't make that offer. If Sox are willing to add Vladdy then they damn well be willing to get Giles and Kendall and they wouldn't have to give up the farm.

Yeah, I understood that, but if we got one of those kids that can throw like 100, I don't think I'd want to give him up(Cain and Threet or something like that?). From what I've understood from Rex, Pacheco and Diaz are quite similar pitchers, and in my mind, one of them becomes available, and neither of them can throw 100 either. We could give them that 3rd guy though too. That wouldn't be a problem. Oh, ok gotcha. Ya they could give them Diaz, I think they'd listen to that.
