I like your thinking Killa and Deville's are way nice. You got tons of power and plenty of luxury in one of those. Caddies are so pimp.

Only way we acquire Tex or Hank for Crede is if we throw in Mark B. I dunno, Billy Botch could be quite attractive. Lets just change his name to Botch and tell the Rangers they are getting the pitching prospect they've been looking for. Say he'll be the next Dontrell

I was just messing with you. You said JR didn't want to look like a moron and well, I was thinking, since when was he afraid of that.

When they come for you bad boys bad boys.... Like I said in a post a few minutes ago. Foulke is definately better then Koch. Koch is pretty good when he's throwing his 98 MPH fastball, but until that comes back, he's mediocre. Right now the only thing I can hope for is for Cotts to come through and develop in a big way. I'm also hoping Koch regains his form of last season. I still want to know why exactly Foulke wasn't closing late last year.

And your point is

Depends on the meaning of the word plow

Well I know a great thing to spend some money on And if it makes you feel better, you could buy the shades for me

First time I've ever heard that BMR, I hope everyone is alright where you are and that the damage was mainly superficial.

Well I'm the best GM candidate

jas .. jr is usually one not to beat around the bush.....he usually tells it like it is.......but who knows.... i highly doubt he would let kw say one thing only to take it back shortly afterwords......its not his style......and he would only look foolish in the end if it were to happen after he said it wouldnt dont ya think???? Well my thinking is KW slipped those quotes out or said something and didn't mean it to come out that way. I think he wanted things to come out as if he was going to make another trade to improve the team. That or he said something prematurely and JR had to go out and fix it. This is me speculating though.

I have no idea why they wouldn't hire Backman, unless they don't want to go with an inexperienced manager at the major league level. Well, that or these rumors are off and Backman really is the main candidate.

I'm not a big fan of any of those names, but I've heard some good things about Fregosi. I'm gonna hold out for Tom Kelly though. Hey, If I'm going to hope I'm gonna hope for the best.

How would that be a lie? Manuel isn't fired yet, and the boss says that what Williams said should not be taken that he would be fired. It's what someone else wrote here earlier, Williams said nothing at all and everyone thinks he implied something. Reinsdorf said there was no implying anything. Basically Reinsdorf is covering all grounds, imo. He doesn't want anything being reported either way and he figures this will quiet things down till after the game. I also think Jerry is saying that something will be done, whether its firing the manager or trades. The question is what will it be and is their a possibility that both happen.

Eddie throws a lot of meatballs. I've never figured out how he does so good, but he has put up very good numbers the past few years so more power to him.
-
In regards to JR's quotes. Does anyone think he made those quotes knowing that he didn't want anything to slip about Manuel getting canned tomorrow? If I'm the owner and I have this venue and I don't want any bad press to show up the game or any press in general showing up the game, I'd make damn sure that no one that Jerry was going to get fired and the only way to do that is to make the comments he made. Mark my words, Manuel is done.

Thats great. It would of only been better if he said, nah, I don't watch that crap.

Blalock is so good. I still laugh at the Cubs for not dealing Cruz and another prospect for him. They could of had Blalock and Vidro if they weren't so afraid of moving Cruz and Bobby Hill. What have they done for the Cubs this year anyway? Oh well, there loss. Any shot of dealing Crede for Hank or Textierra?

I can virtually guaran-f***ing-tee you that JM had nothing to do with Foulke not getting his closers' role back last year. I dunno. Manuel was always saying he would get the job back, and then he'd never pitch him there.

Oh it will be that full. I'm thinking this October and no I'm not talking about a concert, I'm talking about playoff baseball at the Cell...

Man that was a good game. Oh ya, everytime I see Keith I really miss him. I think its true that when you see enough of a person you kind of get tired of their play and then once you go without them, you realize just how damn good he was. I always thought Keith was really good. Its too bad Jerry wouldn't let him close last year after he earned his job back. I'm not gonna second guess though, I liked the idea of Koch and Cotts is doing good. Foulke is the better closer though, that I won't deny.

and my farmer boy skins means I need to wear that s*** 24/7 when I go to the beach, lol.

Maybe he meant that it wasn't going to be a few days and that he would be fired tomorrow

Sleeping, Ha, although I really should. Have a meeting real early tomorrow morning, but ehh. I swear the feature works, or a lot of the time it does. I have no idea what triggers it not to work at times.

Thought so, thats why im moving there......job market is booming. No state income tax, and the property is dirt cheap (and will skyrocket in future years). I definitely will consider buying a home there when the time comes for me to get one. None here in texas too. I was making lots of money here. My parents are moving to Vegas too.........and theyre on like a 1 year waiting list for a house, but thats because everyone from LA is moving there in the same price range. From what ive heard, people are selling million dollar homes in LA and buying similar houses for 250,000 in Vegas.... The house that my bro-in-law bought in Henderson cost him and his wife a little less than $270K, and it EASILY would be $500K in an average part of So Cal, and well over $1M in some of the nicer neighborhoods. Unbelievable difference in the cost of housing. There's also an unbelievable difference in electricity bills (largely due to A/C that must be run practically 24/7 from March-September), but it's well worth it. Well s*** my small apartment cant use too much AC......... Well plus, you're moving there from Texas, so it probably won't be too much of a change in climate. So Cal to Vegas is a bit more dramatic, though. You can take the heat more than us beach bums. Believe it or not, it may be worse here. Our average summer day is 98 with 85 percent humidity, compared to Vegas 105 with 25 percent humidity.... That is true, Vegas' heat is typically a very dry heat, so it won't be as bad as Texas. So I guess you'll be galavanting around town in a flannel and jeans at high noon in mid-August eh? Shorts and polo shirt here brotha.............all year if i can get away with it lol Polo shirt, now thats fancy talk. You gotta learn to be a beach bum out in the desert. Shorts, a t-shirt, and sandals. Thats my daily dress code unless I have a meeting at work.
