Konerko drew a one out walk. Graffy almost dropped a bunt for a hit, but the runner gets on over to 2nd. Crede is now up.
-
I agree with you Rex, the players have to get the bunt down. Thats what so sorry about this team, they fail every single stinking time. Whether its getting the bunt down or getting the runner to 3rd after a leadoff double and then getting him home. This is the most pathetic team I've ever seen when it comes to doing the things that are supposed to be done and thats why they aren't a winning baseball club.

That was really terrible managing by Manuel. These are the things I see every game and its why the Sox are failing. I'd say they are scoring a run less a game because of what kind of a fool he is as a manager. Either they use Graffy or Josh Paul (Solid Bunter). Those two and Olivo are the only guys that can bunt.
-
As usual the Sox strand the guy after a leadoff double.
-
Thomas rips a leadoff double.

I think he was an amazing player. One of the things I'd like to add to the site is a history section. The only problem is, I wouldn't be the best to write something like that since I was never to see any of those players play. I'm still gonna try and figure out a way to put something together.

I'm a bit behind. This morning for sure, lol. I always end up forgetting

Lamura has had a few really high K games thus far this season if I recall. I think he could have a solid future. He's supposed to have great movement on his pitches.

First off welcome aboard. I'd say that all of those guys sound like we'd have a shot at them. I'm far from a draft expert though. I'm a big minor league fan, but don't know a ton about the draft picks. From what I've read I'd like Gwynn in the second and Ritchie would be a great pick in the 3rd. I like any of those guys you have in the first or Anderson out of the University of Arizona. I think that the Sox seem to be going for an outfielder, but I'd take Gwynn in the 2nd and go with a pitcher in the first. The lefty or rigthy sounded really good to me. If the lefty is a power pitcher nab him.

Attention: If you're going to the Sox Dodgers Game

Now it works. I'm gonna try my best to make it. -
Maybe they should hire Chris Myers who writes columns from a psychological standpoint every couple weeks.

The next portion of the list should be up tomorrow. I'm just getting stats together, etc. Everything is written and we should roll through the list starting tomorrow. Sorry about the slowness lately. Were working on getting everything set so we get rolling on all of this.

Lol, it would be so great. First order of business; Soxfans appreciation day. One day where all Sox fans could go to the game for free. Seriously, if I bought a team that is the first thing I'd do. Give thanks for all the loyal fans that suffered through all the years of utter crap play. Mike and I would be so stoked. I won't give you any of the can't spend .50 cents if we have one dollar. It would be more of the, donate a 50 cent cd to me so we can sign a player

Agreed. Can't give up on a guy after one season. This guy has yet to play a full season. He's got fast hands, and good power. Things will be fine with him. He does need to work on drawing more walks, etc. He will be just fine though. He's also going to be a gold glover.
-
Lol, I knew that was coming.
-
Beautiful. This team's fundmentals kill the Sox. Couldn't lay the bunt, couldn't pitch in relief, and they couldn't make the play to end the inning. Great. Blow em up.
-
I'd still root for the Angels, but boy would I be pissed off.
-
Fact is this team is the worse team in the majors fundementally. It is truly pathetic. We have a crapload of DH's that can't do anything else and they are bad DH's cause they aren't hitting. They need to blow this thing up.
-
You steal Beane, I just want Hendry.
-
Well I don't want him.
-
Here's some alternative possibilities. The Giants could acquire Koch and Loaiza instead of Colon. I couldn't see them adding two guys with high salaries. The Giants would definately be willing to give up 2 of their top prospects and one of their guys in the majors or two of their top prospects in the minors and two of their top position prospects. As someone else mentioned; Colon and Koch could go to Philly although I wouldn't do it unless Myers was a part of that deal and Marlyn Byrd or something like that. As Cerb mentioned the Angels could definately use Koch; A Koch and Loaiza deal could be of value here. They could also use Flash, Wunsch or even Glover. Red Sox could be interested in Buehrle or one of the pitchers or even Koch. They don't have much to offer other then Freddy Sanchez. Dodgers could have some interest in Carlos Lee or Frank Thomas if he keeps hitting. They have a few guys in AA/A ball that are really pretty good.
-
Damaso stays in the inning. I'm telling ya all, we need to blow this thing up.
-
And Rios can't bunt and then whiffs.
-
At least they were both ok. From what I understand the shortstop keeps going for it until the outfielder calls it off. I wasn't paying attention to Borchards mouth so I don't know if he was calling for it or not, but usually I notice Borchard calling for it. Who knows, at least they made the catch and everyone is healthy.
-
We get an out but a run scores on a sac fly. Man this really sucks for Buehrle. He ain't getting the win.
