  1. I may sound optimistic, but I'm not even worried about that. I buy that his arm is 100% now and I'm gonna simply let him get healthy and wait to see him pitch. Although I think we'll all feel better after he is blowing White Sox opponents away for a month or so.
  2. Don't know if you watched Mark, but White was nasty today. He has great stuff. I don't want this guy going anywhere. Him, Flash, Marte, Wunsch and Koch are all keepers in my opinion. We also all know that I like Glover a whole lot. Almonte is damn good and although he's getting old I think he's going to have to wait a bit, but he'll get his time and he'll be really good. His time isn't quite yet.
  3. Damn, sounds like Wright was sharp. I'm assuming he's going to make 3 more rehab starts or so.
  4. Whats Stewarts contract and would the Jays want Stewart? I'd definately take Shannon and his speed and such over Caballo. Off the top of my head Shannon is still pretty young, very quick has some pop and can hit .300 or so and could fit in at the top of the lineup or in the back. He's a lefty or a switch hitter or is he a righty?
  5. I stick to my theory, no way do I ever want to see Maggs in center unless it is because of an injury or something weird. He is not capable of covering the ground out there. Leave him in right or move him to left and let Borchard play right with someone else in center. On our team, Rios, Rowand, Harris and Borchard are the only guys I'll take in center. Real quick, I know everyone talks about Dunn, I think he struck out 166 times last year so its not like he isn't striking out and Borchard is. They both have a lot to work on. Were just giving Joey B more time in the minors to do it because our team is far more talented then the Reds.
  6. Thats really cool. Gonna have to add that to it after I finish my homework.
  7. Great question. Right now I don't see any changes being made. I don't think we see Borchard till June 1st. I believe the Sox want him to continue working on shortening the swing and the adjustments he's made down in the minors. Give him two months or so their to get comfortable and then you'll see him in Chicago; Thats if no one has won the centerfield job. I like the idea of having Harrs if the kid can play. That being said its only over a short period of time. Plus, does that mean we simply cut Paul?
  8. Not as high as Ulacias. Bullard hasn't been as sharp, but he hasn't been bad either..I'd say mediocre and I hope he can get things back together and catch fire and make it up and dominate with the Sox. As always, I'm wishing the best to ya Jim
  9. I was a pretty big Cooper fan when he was with the Angles a few years back.
  10. Minor League Recap By Jason Gage April 17, 2003 SoxNet.net
  11. I'm glad Billy will be well rested. The entire pen is pretty rested for the four game set against Cleveland. I'm hoping the Sox can sweep or take three out of four. Hopefully the Sox can get to Rodriguez this time around.
  12. A win is a win. I think we've used Marte quite a bit this season already, so I'd like to give him a bit more rest, but if your gonna go with him, you can't argue, he's been fantastic.
  13. Marte gives up a 2 run homer. Its now tied at 3.
  14. Sox are up 3-1 in the top of the eight inning. They have stranded quite a few once again today. Jimenez had a steal last inning. Damaso Marte is now pitching.
  15. Very likely if he keeps hitting the ball hard in AAA.
  16. guarentee? Down on Garland? Why? Nope, I just know they always cream him.
  17. I like this lineup. I think Daubach picks up his stuff and Thomas will continue showing signs of heating up. Hopefully the top of the order does well and all the players do well. As always I miss the game where Olivo is catching.
  18. Well I guarantee that Texas creams him.
  19. I'd say Texas is the hardest against him and then KC. Angels whooped him good last year too.
  20. Ya, if you guys want it, then you can have it. Gonna update the link in the next day or so for the new chatroom.
  21. Personally, I'd of always left him out. That was a hillarious photo and a hillarious comment.
  22. I agree. They don't have the depth to sustain this over a full season, but some of their pitchers are fantastic and think they are doing this without Beltran.
  23. Thats damn right. My boy KW does it again ROCK ON KENNY ROCK ON!!!!!!!!!!!!
