  3. I agree with you there. I find it funny how some on this board rip on, as you call them, Pathetica, but treat KISS as if they are still some kind of "all for the fans" rock band. KISS are the ultimate sellouts. Not to mention, their pathetic attempts to get more money from their loyal fans always reaches new lows. Additionally, the hundreds, maybe thousands, of lawsuits where KISS sued one or more of their fans civilly for any of a number of really petty violations of certain corporate laws. And last but not least, KISS was really never that good. :fyou KISS Kiss Blows
  4. Ya, it was an absolute Bomb. Still, I wish the Sox had Prior. He'll be the best pitcher in the majors in a few years, if not the best, then top 5.
  5. That is a damn good movie. I'll try to check it out tonight.
  6. Foulke definately has it in him. The guy was a phenomenal closer, but it seemed like teams figured him out a bit. Then he made his adjustment and got back in the groove and was real impressive. It will be interesting to see how he does when he is going out there again in the ninth inning this year. Koch, this kid is an up and coming closer thats also very very good. He's got the shot at being amazing, especially if he keeps improving his control. I think both will be good closers, this deal was safer in the sense that the Sox now know they have a closer and he's here for a couple years, while Foulke would of been gone this year. Who knows what JM would of done if Foulke was around this year. We may be going into camp with a closer by committee situation.
  7. 13-1 I think, but it may be 12-1.
  8. Oh they will. They are like 2 time National Champs!!!!!!! On a sidenote, I really don't have much school spirit. You'd think I did though, lol. I just go when other good teams are playing.
  9. Went to the big game tonight and they beat the hell out of #6 ranked Texas 14-4 in baseball. Fullerton is currently ranked #5. It was a sweet game, saw a guy steal home for the first time in my life (Well in person). Texas's head coach Auggie is the guy who basically created Fullerton's powerhouse of a baseball team and then left eventually for Texas. Truly Beautiful. Hell, its the only team at my school thats respectable and to top that off, they are damn good. Gonna win it all this year!!!!!!!!
  10. Crap, wasn't the draft today? s***, I don't even know if I ever signed up or not, lol.

  14. Munoz hasn't pitched yet has he? - Oh ya, I think Konerko had a homer
  15. Just started listening to the game Its 6-2 - Joe Borchard just hit a solo shot to dead center. They are talking about it being an absolute bomb. These are the Dbacks announcers too. Saying it was one of the farthest they've seen at this park.

  17. I agree there is importance in spring training for the reasons you said. It typically takes a while for the players to get ready and the first few starts for pitchers are pretty hard cause there timing and everything can be off, plus they may be working on other things and its why they give up quite a few runs.
  18. I can't wait to see Aaron play next week. Hopefully he impresses and he's everything Michelle has been saying he is.
  19. Here's a Recap http://www.soxnet.net/springtraining/feb28.html
  20. I don't think there are many requirements for this chat other then you got to be a Sox fan. It used to fill up quite a bit and hopefully it will be rocking this season!!!
  21. http://www.soxnet.net/soxnetchat.html There isn't a link on the message board yet for the chatroom.
  22. I only caught like the last half hour but I thought you did pretty good.
  23. Yeah, I would say we made out better than the Blue Jays, but Scott Eyre is turning into a halfway decent lefty out of the pen, and Kevin Beirne was 2-0 3.41 with the dodgers last year in 30 innings...so I am going to say that although we came out better than the Jays on the deal, we still lost some talent for Glover who has been mediocre so far. I think we should use Ginter more than Glover. Ginter was a damn good starting pitcher at Birmingham in 2000, and now he sucks as a reliever. We should be working with this guy a little more. The Beirne trade was for Wells. The Eyre deal was completely seperate. I know some like Eyre, but Glover is really good.
