  1. Damn it, Omar rips one past PK. I thought PK was gonna get it, but no luck. Flash looked better then this. He's look pretty good up there, but Omar is just hitting the heck out of everything. This one is tied back up at 3. Pitching Change - Damaso is coming in.
  2. Damn, he throws a curve on a 2-2 count and it just goes foul and drills the umpire. Yesss, he strikes him out on an outside fastball. Beautiful pitch. Come on Flash, lets get Omar out and let the offense try to score a few more runs!!!
  3. Phillips looked ugly trying to bunt twice, but did an awesome job hitting it to first and getting the runner over to 3rd. Milton Bradley is now up with one down and a man on 3rd and the infielders are playing in. Flash looks like he has a sharp curve today. He's down in the count 2-0 though.
  4. Why dont we send Bartolo back in? Im not watching the game so I dont know if he has his best stuff today but he had a good outting... Over 110 pitches I think.
  5. Flash Gordon is in. Hopefully he's looking sharp. I don't think I would of brought him in considering how cold it is, although I have the utmost confidence in Flash. He goes up 1-2 and then gives up a shot off the top of the wall for a double by Casey Blake.
  6. Get used to Jose batting from the right side. He played all off-season putting emphasis on right-handed swing. Last year he hit a grand slam from right side. Graffanino's era is over. Well Manuel has pretty much stated Graffy will play against almost all lefties.
  7. Right now its ok to leave Carlos and PK where they are. I think they will be both be fine. More importantly I like leaving Crede where he is so he can continue to get into a groove in an non pressure situation. I don't see the need to put much more pressure on Crede as he already has a lot of hype placed on him. The big guys in the middle will be alright, actually they will be great.
  8. Has something to do with his fielding woes I Think
  9. Well Manos pops out. I probably would of pinch hit him in that situation with Graffy. We'll once again have the heart of the lineup due up next inning. I sure hope they can score some more runs (THe Sox that is).
  10. How does 9 or so runs with two outs sound Come on Manos
  11. D'angelo ropes a single up the middle and Alomar comes in and the Sox got the lead Beautiful swing by D'ang!!! Come on Manos, nows the time to get one through. You've hit it hard all day. Cleveland is making a pitching change bringing on the lefty. Does JM put Graffy in?
  12. Alomar rips a double down the 3rd base line on an amazing at bat. He kept fighting pitch after pitch off and then finally ripped one down the line to tie the game up. Come on D'Angelo you can do it
  13. Damn it, Vizquel makes an awesome play on a soft hit grounder and throws Rowand out. Crede is at second and Sandy Alomar is at the plate. I smell a homer. Alomar is gonna give the Sox the lead right here, helping his team-mate and Sox starter Bartolo Colon
  14. Crede rips a one out single. Rowand is now up. Last time Rowand had a great sacrifice bunt that was a big reason we got our first run. Hopefully this time he can get a basehit or a double or something good to help tie the game or even better get the Sox the lead.
  15. Jose Santiago is now pitching for the Indians. Crede, Lee, and Rowand are due up. Carlos Lee tries dropping a bunt on the first pitch, but it goes foul. Great IDEA Carlos. Carlos went done. Great pitching sequence by Santiago, Lee had no chance on any of those pitches.
  16. Thats the inning, so to the top of the 7th we go. I wonder if Rodriguez comes back out. I think Colon's day is done. He came in on a lot of rest, but its better to save some of those pitches. He gave us 6 strong when he didn't have his best stuff and only gave up 2 runs. Thats good enough to get the win and the offense needs to get some runs on the board and get Bartolo his first win as a White Sox!!!!
  17. Nice article Matt. I still believe that this is one of the best bullpens in baseball though and that there isn't really much anything to worry about.
  18. Colon then strikes out Barr on a 98 mph fastball, SUPER NICE Thats 6 k's for Bartolo. He also has 3 walks.
  19. Karim Garcia grounds out to Jose Valentin and Josh Barr is now up. Colon is now at 102 pitches.
  20. Damn...Garcia just hit a bomb but somehow it just went foul. Barely. Colon stayed in, but man did Garcia turn on that pitch.
  21. Konerko flies out to end the inning. He hit it hard and I thought it was going to get through for a double but it didn't. To the bottom of the 6th they go.
  22. Frank whiffs. This may be Rodriguez last inning. O-E-O
  23. Colon looks pissed and he strikes out Burks too. I'm guessing that was his final inning. But he could pitch one more at the most. COME ON OFFENSE
  24. Matt Lawton strikes out on some gass!!!
  25. Come on Bartolo, lets get out of this only giving up one run. Sox need to score some more runs and they'll have the heart of the lineup due up.
