  1. What inning?
  2. ESPN has the rights to the night games.
  3. I would, but Wednesdays games are blacked out for me.
  4. I dunno, but I'm glad to see Santiago.
  5. Buehrle is.

    Ok, getting on right now.
  7. I don't even look at that. The updates from all the posters here kick ass
  8. Can't hit and run with a guy striking out as much as he has so far this season.
  9. i like that kid loshe...he's tough I like Loshe. I'm pretty sure he went to my school too.
  10. I could say something about Durham right here....but I'll pass on the opportunity I will always wish we still had Ray Ray and thats coming from one of Jimenez's biggest fans.
  11. Sweet, come on Maggs. PK is anxious and will be having a big game.
  12. It would be a cool feature, but all in all Steinbrenner screws the fans. As long as people like Fox Sports are willing to pay all that money for the rights I believe the games will remain free. Plus, isn't Fox Sports pretty much like that already? I know Fox Sports West carries all the hockey teams in SoCal, The Dodgers, Angels, Clippers and Lakers. Ocassionally you get games on the local channels, but I'd say we have a system a lot like that already.
  13. Its time for the middle guys in the lineup to do something.
  14. By the way, I'm not ripping Jon. I think he's going to do very good this year. Baggs has a great point too that he will regress a bit potentially, but this is a kid that was filthy down the stretch last year and he is still just a kid. Come on Jon, get into a groove.
  15. Don't even compare Jonny to Prior. I'd be willing to trade the farm system for Prior.
  16. Lee is flying open. What is going on with Garland. How does his stuff look? Is he mixing speeds or is pretty much everything hitting the heart of the plate. Last year I thought Garland was nothing (Baggs and I were about the only ones to agree) and then this year I thought he had turned the corner. Only two starts though and he still has a long way to go so he can redeem himself in this one.

Damn and thats only 5 innings into the game.
  18. Hell Ya Thanks everyone for these updates. I'm at the office right now and its nice to know exactly whats going on at the games.
  19. 1. So what? 2. His ERA for the game was still just over 2.00. I wish Garland was as "wild"/ 3. Prior will be the next great pitcher in baseball when Pedro breaks down. Unless Rauch gets healthy and starts putting it together that is Rauch is nowhere near the level of Prior. Prior is in a slot by himself and the only two pitchers below him are Josh Beckett and Brett Myers (Phillies) when it comes to young phenoms. Everyone else is soley a top prospect or wherever they fit in. Brando I still believe that you rate prospects in general much higher then they really are. Most prospects fail, its that simple. Almost everyone in the minors has plenty of ability but it takes a special player with the perfect mix of mental smarts, ability, and of course luck and other characteristics to make them a major league player.

He always played good with the Sox, therefor I believe he'd be doing the same here. He never sucked and I don't care what some people believe, he was one of the best leadoff hitters and second baseman the White Sox ever had and Jimenez is going to have a tough job replacing him. I believe he has the tools and ability to replace him, but whether he lives up to that who knows. It was one of the big reasons I wanted to bring him back this offseason. You knew Ray would put up a .355 or great OBP, steal bases and score 100 runs. We just got so used to it that so many people took it for granted thinking that everyone can do that and its not the case. The Sox were lucky to have such a great leadoff hitter. Yes, he could of been better, but he was damn good as is.
  21. They replace one former Sox with another in Al Levine. This is the same Parque we saw in the majors after the surgery. Still, I like Jim as long as he loses when he plays against us.

I have no complaints if the Bears picked Newman.
  23. That would work. jason@soxnet.net
  24. I think the draft lays out like Spiff is saying. Only reason the Bulls won't take Darko if they happened to have the #2 pick is they need another guard/sf, not another big man. Darko was told by the NBA that he would be eligible.

I'd be happy with Leftwich and Doss.
