have you been watching jimenez play 2nd base??...he is horrible ..durham was considered a liability but jimenez is worse..no range whatsoever and errors everywhere...he shows a pretty good relay arm..ill give him that here are durham's 162 game averages over a 7 year career 112r, 177h , 35d , 8t, 15hm , 68rbi , 31sb, 278 avg , 352 obp , 783ops those numbers are his lifetime averages, ill bet anything jimenez will never come close to these numbers over his career...durham is also a 2 time all star..bet you jimenez wont make two of those either Baggs, I gotta say this. Ray was ripped way too harshly defensively when with the Sox, imo. He did a heck of a job, but as many have mentioned he was way too streaky. The thing I love about Jimenez is his willingness to go deep into counts, and he isn't looking to hit the homer every at bat. He does have some pop in his bat, but he will be a guy that could put up a .375 + obp year in year out. I want to see him become a better/more effecient base stealer. He has very good speed, yet he never uses it. This guy should be capable of 20-30 steals. He doesn't have Ray Ray speed, but he's quick. I'd also like to see him become a better bunter. I love how he's a slap hitter that works deep into the counts and will rarely strike out as he develops. Defensively I think he's average. Very good arm.

What a game. Great way for the offense to take off. Baggs, they may of been un-earned runs, but they were due for something like this and something like this could just really start a big time hot streak. Then again, they could just get shutout in Cleveland, who knows, but I continue to like our chances and have been impressed with most of the complimentary playesr and have absolutely no worries that are big boppers will come alive. Awesome outing by Stewart!!!

hopefulley he doesn't overthrow his arm, and hurt his arm I was thinking the same thing. Right now I'm very down on Jerry Manuel. I've never been high with him, nor have I been down with him, just kind of ehh. The thing is, I don't like how he runs the team, its as if he has no idea what he wants and I just don't think that type of an attitude works. Its just some weeks, he's running the guys and other times he'll forget all about that and won't do it. This team is at its best when they are manufacturing runs, cause its gets them concentrated on contact hitting, etc, and it just seems to get them comfortable and lead to the big innings. Right now I am itching for Bobby Valentine or Backman. Damn to have Scioscia.

I sucked horribly on my bracket. I thought Kansas was good, but had a couple teams that i thought would go deep and didn't. Syracuse was one of my horses, but I didn't think they'd get past the elite eight (In the Poll). During the tourney I realized they were going real deep and I'll be rooting for them to win it all, although I really don't care cause it will be good to see Williams win the tourney finally.

Great call on the new coaches. Interesting point. I do remember watching Bruce Kimm walk all of the way to home plate to talk to Graffy after the missed sign. But that still doesn't explain the 3-2 bunt off of a fastball pitcher in the 9th. I'm trying to forget about that whole bunting incident. Damn it, we could of won that ballgame if that was executed correctly.

But playing a different position doesn't have an effect of reading the signs, etc. He should of known that and not made that type of mistake. I'm a huge Graffy fan and he's pretty sound fundementally, but he does make errors, albeit it, it has to be difficult playing all those positions. All I know is he's an awesome guy to have coming off the bench. I think many are hard on Carlos because of the potential the guy has shown and so far failed to live up to.

I think the pitchers should have same value as an everyday player so the points look good to me

I thought it was cancelled for the content casue it upset some people and they didn't think it belonged on telivision. All I know is I want new FAMILY GUY episodes. I've never talked to a person that didn't like that show. Family Guy

Well, if it is, then it shows that the Sox are going to continue playing Harris at 2nd instead of in centerfield. I was guessing that Harris would end up getting quite a bit of playing time in center. By the way, the updates for the minor league teams should start tomorrow, I was gone the past couple days, so I couldn't do any of the recaps.
