Good move by Niners. They drastically need an upgrade at TE and they can deal with the pains of getting an offensive player up to speed in a new system during the course of the season (as they can afford some negative plays given they are pretty much playoff locks).

No idea what happens the rest of the season, but if Jay looks this calm in the offense, zero reason to cut him. I still think if Cook is their in the 2nd (or someone else) whom you really like, you draft and groom and we can't ignore the QB position (it isn't like Jay is 26) but thus far, Gase and Cutler look to be doing some good things and Jay is becoming far less a problem. Is he elite, no, but you can absolutely win and go deep if you had a good team around him (the way he's played thus far...especially given the struggles / injuries to his receivers and line). But he's got to do this for a while longer to just completely ignore QB.

Really...that quick you can sign with new teams? I always remembered a period where you had exclusive rights. Clearly I am remembering wrong. Off-season is going to get started quickly here.

Really, you could have just put it one episode earlier and it would have still served its purpose but then you don't get the same pace from the back to back episdoes of both halves of Alexandria. So either you stick it in the middle (right after the episode where Morgan doesn't kill) or you do it now. I think their are pro's and con's to either but I kind of liked how they paced the episodes to start and then went to this one. I felt having the Morgan episode in between would have taken away from the beginning of the action and then I presume the next arch will be related to what happened 2 episodes ago. Either way, I still have loved this season.

Given how much I enjoy Morgan (partially because I thought his character on Jericho was also badass), I thought it was great to finally get to see an episode dedicated to him. Chilling ending with those comments.

We won't get outrebounded if our bench bigs were the starters, but Pau is a lousy fundamental rebounder. Niko is still developing (I do have hope for him being a pretty good rebounder). It is also 4 games...so we have to consider the sample size.

That drop by Langford hurt but otherwise he looked solid. This year is all about progress. Jay, once again, looked very comfortable, although I'm not exactly sure what we were doing in the first half (in terms of play calls). I suppose our oline is total patchwork and Vikings have a good defense. Oh and any nonsense about trading Jeffrey needs to go. He's young and very very good and we have ample cap room. Pay the man.

I thought Bush's response was fine, but I think their are far more pressing questions to be asked during a presidential debate. I thought a lot of the questions were plain awful. It was like back in the recession when we had politicians busy dealing with the steroid issue in baseball...I'm sorry, that issue shouldn't have been getting that sort of attention when we had far more pressing needs as a country. By the way, I have zero idea how this fanduel stuff is legal. I don't buy the "skill" argument but I'm not an expert in the arena. If you could argue fantasy a skill I would think you could make the same argument about sports betting. The reason fantasy football works well is that you don't have a middle man controlling the money so it is just done for fun with small cash by people who know each other (kind of like your neighborhood poker game).

I'll go to the easiest lie of the bunch...the debate was changed from 3 hours to 2 hours...it was not always scheduled to be 2 hours. Trump almost blew a gasket when the jackass responded to that.

The fantasy football question to Bush was just horrid and to be frank, their were a couple times where I felt that it was the moderators who were flat out lying (vs. the candidates). Republican's need to get some of these guys out of the race. Carson had an interesting strategy...just stay a fly on the wall...yeah you won't take a step forward but I think he knows this is not an arena he shines. Carly and Rubio continue to dominant the debate format and it looks more an more evident to me that eventually, when the dust unfolds, Rubio is going to be the next candidate and he is one of the guys on that stage I'd vote for. I'd vote for him, Jeb or Kasich and to be frank I have no issues with Christie or Carly either. I actually think Carly would be the best but I don't think she can stand up and beat out the smear campaign they'll push on her (including her own audio bytes from the layoffs / outsourcing). To be frank, those sound clips don't bother me, I understand the realities of business, but it just isn't a rhetoric that a huge voting base will get their arms around. I'd love to see Carly blow Clinton out of the water, it would just be amazing TV. Rubio will have to take a closer look at his tax plan though, zero capital gains taxes are going to be a tough selling point given who directly benefits (you can argue indirect benefits of it...but the direct benefits are the wealthiest people in this country).
