And, for those who don't check into the minor league board, it was a good day on the farm today, too. Brian Anderson was a single short of the cycle, and B-Mac went six, allowing two (one earned). Great day all around...

I hope Crede doesn't get dissappointed. Even though he was 0-4, he hit the ball hard, which is good.

Ozuna -- I salute you. Huge hit off the bench, and playing first -- for the first time in his career. Here's to Pablo.

Real poor defensive effort by Harris there. Real poor defensive effort, period. Which is kind of funny, because I thought this was the best lineup Ozzie could put out on the field. And by best lineup, I mean best lineup defensively.

Could money have been a factor as far as picking Orton over McPherson? Is the NFL draft and signing picks basically, where you go, you'll get that type of money. Or is it more like the baseball draft, where, if you have a crazy enough agent (ehem, Boras), you could get a lot of money no matter where you're picked?

The link requires a login/password. Does the article specifically say clutch hitting or a clutch hitter? I've always been on the fence as far as that goes -- I think there's the such thing as a 'clutch' hit, but I don't necessarily believe in a clutch hitter. And I certainly don't believe in giving a guy $1 million based on how 'clutch' he is, when his career OPS+ is 81...
