Did you read any of the initial post at all? Any of witesoxfan's post, any of Jason's post? Did you really need to make that comment? And no, this isn't favoritism either... :rolly

Late Nite Homework Help!
Thanks again for your help, Addison. It's really appreciated. Now I just gotta construct them into three formal points, but that I should be able to do pretty easily. Thanks everyone for the help.

Late Nite Homework Help!
Hey, I take no shame in that. There's a hell of a lot of smart people on this board. (You not included.) J/K Minny.

Late Nite Homework Help!
Wow - apu, Jason - I appreciate that so much. That's huge. Absolutely huge. I got something to go with now. Thanks a ton, guys. Seriously, that is some great s***. I only gotta talk for like a minute or so, so that will get the job done. I love Soxtalk!

Late Nite Homework Help!
I agree - even said that to my teacher - but she'd have none of it. I'm gonna get ripped apart tomorrow. Hell, I know I can debate well, but I really can't debate something that I don't have my heart into 100%. I'm really pro-Article 3, I mean, I totally agree with it. I guess I'm gonna have to come up with something.

Late Nite Homework Help!
Tomorrow I have a quick two minute debate on the Articles of Confederation, and I'm arguing against the Third Article in the AoC. The Third Article basically states that states should unite in case of any war against them. Now, my first argument against it (I didn't choose this topic/stance) is that in the Revolutionary War, we were able to succeed (for the most part) with state militia's. Yet, I really don't know what else I can use. I need to somehow argue states right in this. Can someone help me out? One more thing - if you were Pro-Article 3, how would you argue it? I just want to have some idea on how I should argue it in my rebuttal time... Any help is appreciated.

Here's Somebody Who No one has talked about...
Just for clarification, Richie Sexson is a right-handed hitter, not lefty. (Not trying to show you up, just letting everyone know.)

Why the Beltran Talk?
Rex - (Sorry, this should probably be on the minor league board, but anyways...) Who would you rate better defensively (range-wise), Anderson or Sweeney (I also realize that Anderson has played mostly CF, and Sweeney plays the corners - but if Anderson were to become a corner, who would you think is better)? And then - which of the two has a better arm? Just trying to gauge a couple things here...

Beer
This past Saturday (the day before I started this thread) was probably the first time I've gotten f***ed up. Like I said, I could barely down one beer, and that's all they had. But the kid who had the party gave me some Coke-Vodka, some Irish Creme, and later in the night I took down half a bottle of Jose-Cuervo Margarita Mix (LOL - I was so f***ed up, I didn't even realize that I needed crushed ice). I had such an awesome time. And the best part about it - I didn't puke or have a s***ty headache the next morning . (Just a lot of the runs - sorry, you guys really didn't need to know that.)

Beer
Why stay away from Jungle Juice? My buddy told me that s*** is good as hell, and gets you f***ed up. Isn't Jungle Juice like Hawaiin Punch, Sprite, and Everclear? Maybe I'm wrong on that one, but why stay away from something so damn good?

Why the Beltran Talk?
IIRC, Anderson is a center fielder... As for a couple of other names, Caveman Damon would be an awesome pick-up for this team, and it would give us two players at the top of the order who could purely hit in Rowand and Damon.

Beer
Alright. Before anyone calls me crazy or something, I want to explain why I'm posting this thread. First, let me ask you my question - and then I'll tell you why I'm asking it. Why do you drink beer? Is it because you like the taste, or is it to get the buzz? I'm asking because - OK - I'm at a party last night, and all they have is beer (of course, nothing illegal whatsoever going on at this party, as I don't break laws ). And, since I usually don't drink beer (Class-A citizen all the way), I didn't know really what it tasted like. Well, during the course of the night, Budweiser (the beer of choice at this specific, not-illegal party) happened to be 'accidently' consumed by me. And, having never had a beer before, I really didn't like the taste; so much so that I could barely take the one can down. Now, I gotta ask a couple questions. First - are there any beers that really have a good, enjoyable taste? I dunno, maybe I just can't take it, but I seriously did not like it's taste. Is it one of those things where, as you get older, you 'get used to it' (kind of like coffee)? FWIW, I tried some Miller too, and didn't like it either. Any opinions are welcome.

Favortism
Oh, Tex, the other day (speaking of a full house to someone's strait) - I was playing and it was a beautiful thing. I had 7-10 offsuit, my buddy had 7-4 suited. Flop comes 10-7-something else. So he picks up a pair, I pick up two pair. Turn card comes, dunno what it was, we both check. River comes, it's another seven. He goes all in on trips 7's, and I get the boat. I love poker! (As to why I posted this... I don't know.)

Gibbs...Either you stay or go!
Then who were you talking to/about? (Tony, am I the only one who's really confused right now?)
-
Gibbs...Either you stay or go!
Please, Minny, point out to me where either me or Tony said that we "rout" (rooted) for our team to lose. Please, do that for me.
-
Gibbs...Either you stay or go!
.... I see what you're saying, Tony. I'll just stop talking, I guess sometimes logic doesn't work...

Gibbs...Either you stay or go!
And I'll come back with Robert Gallery, Shawn Taylor, Mike Vick. What's your point? If you discount having a high pick in the draft, you're absolutely nuts. Absolutely nuts.

Gibbs...Either you stay or go!
If us losing an extra game means the Bears getting a player like Antrel Rolle or Webster from LSU - or a stud left tackle - then sobeit. Don't get me wrong, though. When I watch the game, I go into it cheering for them to win. I will never cheer for any of my teams to lose, even if it means the difference between a first pick and a second pick. I just can't do that. But, I'm not gonna get all pissed off about it. I heard it's bad for your health anyways...

Gibbs...Either you stay or go!
The Patriots win because their coaches are incredibly, incredibly smart football people. Great evaluators of talent, too.
-
Gibbs...Either you stay or go!
I'm not cheering for them to lose. But I'm not gonna get worked up over them losing like this. Why did we lose today? Because our QB was absolute s***. That is the main reason. Our defense played well. Our WR's seem to be playing well when a QB can get them the ball. Jones and our O-Line are playing well. I'm seeing developement, and like I've said - wins and losses really don't matter to me this year. I want to see developement, and I'm seeing that.
-
Gibbs...Either you stay or go!
I really can't blame 'em either. If we're going to win this game, our defense is going to have to scratch out six more points by themselves. 'Cause it's sure as hell not comin' from our offense...
-
Gibbs...Either you stay or go!
Krenzel, at the very least, would be a little more exciting. Krenzel's is a winner, IMHO - and yes, I think he'd do better than Quinn. Give him a couple more weeks, let him grasp the offense a little more, and then just let Krenzel play. He or Hutchinson. Go Thomas, Go Thomas!

Gibbs...Either you stay or go!
Here's my thoughts so far on the game (tell me whether you agree or disagree): -Harris and Tank continue to impress. I'm very pleased with those two so far this season. -Awesome game for Alex Brown. Haynes is also playing well, but not nearly as well as Haynes. -I want to see more of a pass rush from Ogunlye. I don't care if he's getting double teamed, we brought him in here to put the QB on his ass. -Wade looks to be a solid possesion receiver. And someone tell the Bears coaching staff that Justin Gage can jump really high - f***ING USE HIM!!!!! -Odom has lost his job, and IMO, won't get it back. Hillenmyer will start from here on out. -Quinn... No need to comment on him. -Azumah - I love him.
