Well, since this season is all but down the drain, the only thing that we Blackhawk fans have that we can really follow is Norfolk, the 'Hawks farm team. Some pretty good prospects down there, including Vandermeer, Babchuk, Barinka, Vorobiev, Yakubov, Radulov, Wisniewski, and eventually, Ruutu. But, on three different dates -- 11/14 at Philadelphia, 12/19 at San Antonio, and 2/20 at Hartford -- Comcast will show the Admirals. Interesting enough, it's also been talked about having Norfolk coming to play a game at the United Center. I'd definitely go if Norfolk made their way up to Chicago. If Mark Buehrle struggles to put up a sub-5 ERA (home) here, what makes you think the Zito would do so...? I think Zito and Buehrle are just about equal, but I don't think Zito would do much better at the Cell than Buehrle...

A couple weeks ago in a thread I recall you saying something about how the Dolphins are like 3-4 plays away from being .500. And I still haven't heard a valid reason why the Bears are worse than the Phins, but I'll just drop it right now. This isn't going anywhere but in a bad direction...

RF replacement? He plays second base. I (and others) like him because when healthy, he's a speedy secondbaseman who's able to get on base at a pretty damn good clip. We also like him because we feel that a platoon of Hairston/Harris at 2B would be able to be a damn good two headed monster at the top of the order. He's a bit injury-prone, but he doesn't make that much, so it's not a huge risk in picking him up. Plus, they (Baltimore) has Roberts at second who they like better, making Hairston expendable.

OK - so wait. Miami isn't the worst team in the NFL, because they have the 4th ranked defense (41 points tonight), had a guy quit two weeks before the start of the season, and injuries (minimal damage compared to the Bears). But the Bears ARE the worst team in the NFL because.... I haven't even seen a valid reason for that yet... You discount the Bears injuries, their tough schedule (besides two games), and young team - yet use that in your argument for the Dolphins? (And don't think I'm propping up the Bears to be anything special, because they are one of the worst teams in the NFL, and I really don't mind it. I just find it funny how you think the 'Phins are the greatest thing since sliced bread, despite their obvious crappy team.)
