  1. QUOTE(SoxAce @ Apr 14, 2007 -> 01:31 PM) Let's see if our offense can get this run home since our RISP espeically when it's less than two outs is "steller".. Shakes head.
  2. If Crede can't get in a run then we are seriously f***ed.
  3. Come on mr. clutch. Your making me look bad.
  4. QUOTE(Kalapse @ Apr 14, 2007 -> 01:33 PM) Dye is trying to pull EVERYTHING. Dats your boy.
  5. QUOTE(beautox @ Apr 14, 2007 -> 01:30 PM) Jim Thome Hustlin I hate you.

  7. QUOTE(Wedge @ Apr 14, 2007 -> 01:28 PM) consider it rookie hazing
  8. Ha Danks is the only one who has figured out how to pitch Sizemore. 0-3 for Grady.
  9. QUOTE(TheOcho @ Apr 14, 2007 -> 01:22 PM) And he apparently loves weed and hoes. I like him already.
  10. Hahaha Barfield just did damn near the same identical play he did yesterday against A.J.
  11. Just thought of this. So far in this short season, Danks is the 2006 version of Vazquez. Pitched some good games but can't get any damn run support.
  12. 4 IP 5 H 2 R (2 ER) 1 BB 3 SO. Not bad for Danks.
  13. QUOTE(Flash Tizzle @ Apr 14, 2007 -> 01:00 PM) I don't understand what's so difficult about Paul Byrd. How our offense has handled him is bordering on embarrassing. Against Santana you understand, but Byrd? Cmon. It's a damn shame that we hit Harden better in 4 innings already than Byrd.
  14. QUOTE(beautox @ Apr 14, 2007 -> 12:59 PM) lol yeah, his stories are pretty good, and don't involve batting gloves or yaz. I love Hawk too, but DJ just brings a different style in the booth I like even though IMO Black Jack pwns all.
  15. QUOTE(fathom @ Apr 14, 2007 -> 12:57 PM) I'll take McCarthy from 2005 as the best 5th starter. My mistake. Probably should have said from his debut alone as a rookie. BMac was outstanding in 05 as a starter even though Ozzie took a dump every time he pitched which is obvious why he missed his starts.
  16. QUOTE(fathom @ Apr 14, 2007 -> 12:48 PM) Yeah, I think Danks will be a solid starter for us for a good number of years. However, his command is not even close to being MLB ready. He'd break the MLB record for homers allowed if he last the whole year. I'm still waiting to see his fastball get over 90 mph like we were told it would. I wonder if they'll teach him a 2-seamer. It's crazy that Danks will probably have another decent start this game (I'm banking) and he's will not quite ready yet. (that alone is amazing) Alot of pitchers have been rushed and some succeed. Danks alone is the best 5th starter we've had for a long time already. It wasn't even a question whose better between him and Floyd. As for his fastball, I'll give him the benefit of the doubt that he's pitched both his starts in 35+ degree weather which is pretty hard to throw heat in. But if he doesn't go over 90 in warmer weather then yea.
  17. It's up to our 6-9 hitters to carry us again. Who would have thought? Even though most knew our 1-2 wouldn't do much.
  18. That's the second most thing I hate about Pods when he bats. 1. K's looking pathetically 2. Takes a weak swing and pops out, or short pop up to left.
  19. QUOTE(Dick Allen @ Apr 14, 2007 -> 12:40 PM) If Brandon McCarthy was doing the same thing for the Rangers, we would have a ton of people saying how he is never going to be anything. Danks has now allowed 3 long balls. The thing is alot of people here liked BMac. I think you mean Ozzie will say he'll never ammount to anything.
  20. I'll take a bet that Danks will be second on our team for the most K's. He has givin up some homers but he has also K'ing an impressive rate.
