  1. Jesus CWS. Parkman hack your account or something? Hot take city today.
  2. I agree with everything except this. His bat is pretty damn good.
  3. His arm is very good. Arm runs factor in outfield assists (as well as runner advancement). That's part of the reason why '18 is a bit skewed.
  4. That's what I thought.
  5. Speaking of which, who is Mazara's agency? Not sure if anyone said it on here yet. Maybe just in case he actually figures it out...
  6. Which is right around his career average yet you are claiming his 0.8 WAR season last year in 112 innings as gospel. Makes sense...
  7. He'll just ignore that like he usually does.
  8. This. Hell Keuchel at least has had past success. Still waiting on Mazara to get to even 2 WAR let alone 1 (I hope he does figure it out).
  9. I think if the Sox would've gotten Wheeler, some people's stance here with the Mazara acquisition would've been more "meh, I don't care" variety.
  10. Actually that was my mistake. That was his career numbers in general against us.
  11. It's an interesting gamble based on his age and gap power. If he can somehow improve his barrel % and his launch angle... could be a homerun. Alot of ifs... but definitely not impossible.
  12. One thing I will enjoy with Mazara out there is his arm. Dude has a very good arm. Not much on range, but the arm is damn good.
  13. To be fair, Engel is also like 3 and a half years older. I get your point though.
  14. Not big news but just noticed Grandal changed his number. Will be 24, not 8.
  15. I posted it already Badge, not sure if you saw. His gap power is very interesting to me.
  16. I would be shocked if Timmy's wRC+ against righties is that high again next season.
  17. Yes I know that. I just find it hilarious coming from you who usually sites batting average alot when evaluating players (as well as Ks and BBs)
  18. For someone who likes basic stats, you should be salivating at the fact that Mazara's lowest batting average in the big leagues is .253 (Grandal's highest in his career is .247 not counting his sample sized '12 season).
  19. Hawks best defensemen this season likely out a long time and this team is a dumpster fire. Sell high Stan...
  20. https://baseballsavant.mlb.com/visuals/statcast-pitch-highlighter?playerId=608577&batHand=&pitchHand=&pitchType=&year=2019&zone=&hitCoords=81.21875,295.3455810546875,114.06473541259766,300 I wonder if the F.O. hopes that gap power translates to our park as Texas ballpark has bigger alleys.
  21. They actually thought they should've gotten more! hilarious.
  22. Oh and nice call on this one. @Moan4Yoan
