  1. Gonzalez 3-3, SB, 2 R now. And I'll give Laz Rivera some props. He's been by far the hottest hitter on Birmingham lately.
  2. Matthew Thompson 1 IP 1 H 0 R 0 ER 0 BB 1 SO.
  3. That's a hell of a stat and group to be in.
  4. Gonzalez 2-2, R Sheets 1-2, RBI
  5. I don't mind it with a catcher on second at least. It's alot better than him doing it with a fast runner on base.
  6. He is. Supposedly only one game. https://www.google.com/amp/s/www.cbssports.com/fantasy/baseball/news/rays-avisail-garcia-to-play-one-rehab-game/amp/
  7. Robert sac fly RBI. LF made a nice play on him.
  8. Madrigal 2 RBI double. Hit it off the big wall in LF.
  9. Madrigal BB Walker BB, SB Vaughn K'd, but he worked a 14 pitch AB.
  10. Hopefully he stays healthy and moves just as fast as Robert did. Even with the injuries, Robert ended in W-S the following season. I see the Sox moving Sanchez the same way. If all goes right, he could be knocking on the door at 24 or 25 which is still very respectable age wise.
  11. Agreed but I can see around 35. If there's one guy we have that I can easily see hitting 40+ is Eloy. I still would like to see Ricky enhance his speed tool better (not just going from second to home) however. Kid should be a walking 30-30 guy. Instead he's using 4 of his 5 tools even when Moncada was healthy early on.
  12. Probably because W-S is about 3 games or so from a playoff spot. I don't agree with it (Getz is way too conservative with promotions, although I'll take his approach there over Buddy Bell) but it is what it is.
  13. Robert 1-2, 2B, BB Madrigal 1-3 Walker 1-2, RBI
  14. Last year yea when he was walking 5-6 guys against them. This year his peripherals were good just pretty much got beat (mostly Contreras).
  15. Not all. Some of us said that was just one team who has his number.. happens to alot of great pitchers out there.
  16. Ricky should continue to bat him at the top of the lineup to get him the PA's. Kid has a legit shot at the batting title.
  17. This. I don't want him back at all (only because of how Renteria will handle him) but for a year... it's fine. Anything past two and it's a terrible deal.
  18. Jose Rodriguez bomb #9 (I think I may create a thread regarding him soon) Glass 3-4, 2B, RBI, R
  19. I meant just throw him sliders. It's not like he'll walk any.
  20. I'm honestly surprised more pitchers don't do that more with Tim.
