  1. QUOTE (Chicago White Sox @ Apr 16, 2018 -> 11:42 PM) They said he?€™s just started a throwing program and is effectively at the beginning of spring training. Ah ok I missed that. Thank goodness. I know he had a similar injury in high school or college. Glad he's getting healthy.
  2. QUOTE (Richie @ Apr 16, 2018 -> 11:39 PM) Okay, yeah... uhm... I'm on the "this is going to be a really long year" wagon now. lol As long as Lopez continues to pitch well, Giolito and Moncada get it together, Fulmer, Anderson, etc. I'll gladly take the downs.
  3. There's been nothing on Hansen (reminds me of the sox being super quiet on Rodon last year).. getting me a bit nervous there.
  4. This defense is unbelievable.
  5. QUOTE (BigHurt3515 @ Apr 16, 2018 -> 11:28 PM) It is a 1-2 curveball in the zone, just swing the damn bat and at least protect It was a nasty pitch. Gotta tip your cap sometimes.
  6. Don't blame Moncada there. That was nasty.
  7. QUOTE (southsideirish71 @ Apr 16, 2018 -> 11:23 PM) Maybe he can teach the boys to catch the ball. Might do wonders for Anderson or whomever is the future SS of this team.
  8. QUOTE (fathom @ Apr 16, 2018 -> 11:20 PM) Yoan might as well homer and we can consider this a positive rebuild game Other than Tim's bat and glove, I'll definitely take that outcome with Lopez outing.
  9. Nice inning by Lord Farquhar there. He's pitched well since his hiccup the beginning of the year.
  10. Ha.. Tim of course then makes a more difficult play look easy with his athleticism. Such an enigma defensively.
  11. LMAO Timmy and Leury.
  12. QUOTE (fathom @ Apr 16, 2018 -> 11:05 PM) Delmonico hurt? No way you bring in a defensive replacement if you're down 2-0. Said it before, I still highly doubt his shoulder is 100%. In fact, probably something he has to play with all year.
  13. QUOTE (aryzner @ Apr 16, 2018 -> 11:04 PM) This is so White Sox of them to do nothing against a guy who's been knocked around by every other team he's faced this season so far. Not to mention can't win in this stadium with his hometown team. But, we can't win here either given our history. Immovable object vs unstoppable force
  14. 6 IP 4 H 2 R 2 ER 4 BB 10 SO. Yea... I'll take that all day ReLo.
  15. QUOTE (fathom @ Apr 16, 2018 -> 10:41 PM) Well sure, but you still want to see him show some clue against offspeed pitches I'm satisfied with him getting hit(s) at this point. Baby steps..
  16. QUOTE (reiks12 @ Apr 16, 2018 -> 10:40 PM) Lopez looks good, got squeezed early too No doubt. He wasn't getting the low strikes like the other guy.
  17. QUOTE (Chicago White Sox @ Apr 16, 2018 -> 10:02 PM) And I hate being negative, but another groundball for Avi. He’s in a lot of trouble if he doesn’t find a way to get some loft on his balls and fast. I didn't realize he has 0 walks to start the year. He's making Matt Davidson look like Joey Votto.
  18. Giving up an out instead of stealing again goes for not Ricky.. I'm shocked he actually let Moncada run tonight
  19. Still don't like Ricky having Moncada bunt, but he did get the job done.
  20. QUOTE (Chicago White Sox @ Apr 16, 2018 -> 07:53 AM) How is Clarkin talent wise ahead of Dunning? I really don’t get where these insanely pro assentments of Clarkin are coming from. He never dominated High A like Dunning did for long stretches last year. The stuff is most definitely worse and the command is at best the same. I get Clarkin is left-handed and a former first round pick, but I’ll take Dane’s talents over his any day of the week and it’s not even close IMO. Coming out, he was definitely more talented. Dude had a Kershaw comp and had damn good stuff. He's not that guy anymore (similar to Giolito in that regard) but he's still a pretty good prospect. Dunning is definitely ahead though now overall, I agree with you there.
  21. Damn. Hell of an effort from the fat man.
  22. 44 year old Bartolo Colon perfect through 7 innings... against the ASTROS at that....

QUOTE (Footlongcomiskeydog @ Apr 15, 2018 -> 01:17 PM) However, Albies is almost 2 years younger than Moncada!!!! OMGz!!! What a difference!

QUOTE (Heads22 @ Apr 14, 2018 -> 09:42 PM) That's a hell of a prediction for those first three with Robert having no at bats here on the mainland outside of ST and Micker never being healthy. Eloy is obviously the bessss though. Especially considering just a year prior, Adolfo had a bleek future and was getting written off. I'd actually be shock if he reaches his potential but I'm rooting for him. Robert just needs to freaking stay healthy. Has all the tools. We'll see with him. Not worried about Eloy.

QUOTE (Chicago White Sox @ Apr 14, 2018 -> 08:51 PM) They said it was 2 to 3 MPH slow on the broadcast earlier, but that probably doesn’t explain that droppoff. Correct. I was wondering why I saw Kopech at 96-97 until the broadcasters said that (still fast, but he was really at 98-100)
