I'd much rather see Erik Johnson. -

Whoevers walk up music is bone thugs n harmony just became one of my favorite players. EDIT: Brad Miller. He'll join the Schwarber club for me. Heh.. and then he goes yard. Sox need to do something about that 5th spot. -
QUOTE (hi8is @ Apr 16, 2016 -> 03:09 PM) Crazy good D That's what she said.

QUOTE (SoxPride18 @ Apr 15, 2016 -> 09:51 AM) Woj said he has really regressed and will most likely be drafted in the 2nd round and spend at least a couple years in the D League. I can see it or at best.. a late 1st. Kid doesn't even look that athletic. Maybe it's because I still have DeAndre Jordan's mixtape in my head. He was a freak of nature.

I think Scotty is gonna have one of those talks with Q if they lose this one. Luckily Keith addition will be more beneficial. That 3rd line with have no offense though with that anchor dragging it.

QUOTE (ChiSoxFanMike @ Apr 15, 2016 -> 08:15 AM) I think they'll win today and Sunday with Sale and Q and lose on Saturday with Danks. I can see us losing with Q and winning with Danks actually.. or lose both. Our guys just don't like giving Quintana run support. -
QUOTE (Chisoxfn @ Apr 14, 2016 -> 10:34 PM) What was worse, Rose's injuries or Pennies? I'd argue Rose's but Penny had Shaq so who knows what that would have turned into. I still think Bulls win a title the year Rose went down. He was so f***ing good pre-injury. Was watching highlights of old Rose last night and I forgot just how f***ing nasty he was. So aggressive, so much killer instinct. Made me realize just how much his regression is due to his mental regression / fear vs. physical loss. Rose for sure. Penny's knees gave out the year Shaq got low balled and left. Penny was the better overall player, but Rose was the franchise. The only one I'd say was even worse was Grant Hill who SHOULD have been one of the all time greats. Phenomenal player.

Just ridiculous that one of Sharks-Kings and Blues-Blackhawks will be knocked out of the first round. Either of those teams I'll take over the other teams (not named Washington) in the playoffs in a 7 game series, Dallas included.

That 30 for 30 episode with the Magic was great. People to this day forget how good Penny Hardaway was. A damn shame injuries derailed his career. He and Shaq as Shaq put it "Were Shaq and Kobe before Shaq and Kobe."

Percy Harvin (Buffalo Bills) is retiring.
-
Rodon is a stud. God speed Fulmer...
-
Mashinter had no business playing in this game. Keith (who will be in) and Panik (who SHOULD be in) better be drawing Svedberg and Mashinter next game. Hell, I'd put in Weise for Desjardins as well. Weise is a much better playoff performer and Hawks need the offense.

Haven't seen so many people cheer for a player who wasn't a Bull in quite some time at the bar tonight. Kobe was unreal.

QUOTE (scs787 @ Apr 13, 2016 -> 11:48 AM) Can they find a trade down partner?( I prefer this route) Absolutely but it's hard to see it happening. Hopefully a team likes a certain player and makes the move. Bears need talent and collecting multiple picks where the talent is pretty equal after the top 8 (arguably 10) is essential. I'm also good with swapping picks with the Jets and getting Wilkerson too.
-
QUOTE (LittleHurt05 @ Apr 13, 2016 -> 01:38 PM) Mark LazerusVerified account @MarkLazerus A former #Blackhawks player I won't name once told me players do try to time their kids' births: "Lot of f***ing in November in the NHL." I'll bet my money on Versteeg saying that.
-
QUOTE (RockRaines @ Apr 13, 2016 -> 09:56 AM) I think he is focusing on adding size against a team whose philosophy is to be physical first and worry about everything else later. Panik is a pretty physical player though. I'd rather have Bickell's lazy ass out there if that's the case than Mashinter.
-
Mashinter is actually playing tonight.. this is almost as bad as last year when Q benched Teravainen and Vermette for "fresh legs" bad. I'm not the type to doubt a coach whose won 3 in 6, but even I am baffled by this decision. It's not like Mashinter is some tough enforcer either.

QUOTE (soxfan2014 @ Apr 13, 2016 -> 07:44 AM) Going to a bar is ideal for days like today haha I'm sure I'll be at the bar a lot over the next couple weeks/months with friends watching the Hawks and our preference of baseball team sox and cubs. Works perfect with lots of tvs. Yep. I'll probably drive to a bar in Bridgeport tonight in either case. -

QUOTE (SouthSideSale @ Apr 13, 2016 -> 07:01 AM) Wish it was an afternoon game because the Penguins playoff game is tonight. Time for some multitasking. Same with the Hawks game. I'm sure alot of people in the Chicago land area are going to be flipping back and forth. (Sox/Cubs fans, the real diehard Bulls fans.. , Kobe fans, people who do/don't wanna see Golden State break the Bulls 72-10 record, etc. Busy sports day tonight) -
Ishikawa is awful. The fact he's even being mentioned is laughable.
-
He's one of my favorite prospects in the system. I've always had high school girl crushes on toolsy guys (or guys with raw stuff as far as pitchers) so I hope he succeeds.
-
QUOTE (Jose Abreu @ Apr 11, 2016 -> 12:41 PM) Panik? No Weise/Teuvo/Fleisch line? You complain about Panik yet see no issue with Brandon freaking Mashinter on the 3rd line? Mashinter better not see a minute of playoff ice unless injuries hit the fan. Panik has earned playing time.
-
QUOTE (SouthSideSale @ Apr 11, 2016 -> 07:56 PM) Would be nice to know what's going on. Maybe baby issues? They did just have a baby not too long ago. I don't know just something I thought of. Definitely crossed my mind and I'm seriously hoping there's no complications there.

I still gotta get use to us having David Holmberg back.

Pavel Datsyuk is retiring after the playoffs and heading back to Russia to be with his family. Walking away from 7.5 million next season. Great career.
