This goes out to eh flat-earth republicans in the house who kept saying "climate change is a myth. look, our air temps havent gone up since 2001". I just watched a special on Hurricanes. This stat was a bit alarming to me: In the past 100 years, the average temp of the water in the tropics has gone up 1 degree. That's a LOT of water to heat up one degree. Why is this alarming? The air is supposed to heat up faster then the oceans. The worlds oceans suck up heat but give most of it back up due to evaporation. 1 degree is staggering to me.

I just got back from Transformers 2. I really liked it. It's transformers. I went to see robots that transform and blow s*** up. I went to be entertained... which I was. I didnt go to see the next "Life is Beautiful" or "Forest Gump". It was Transformers done by Michael Bay. It was good, a little over the top in some parts and the twins largely served no purpose at all other than comic reliefe whouch could have been done in other ways. I liked it. I'll own it on DVD.

I am loving the debate on the floor of the house. Various Republicans kept ranting "We havent seen the amendments. Where can we find them? no one has seen them. They were done in the dark of night They are no where to be found". Then one Dem gets up and says "they've been on the website for a long time now. They are sitting on the table right up there". Then another stands up and says he finds it ironic that they keep ranting that they cant find it when not an hour before one of their republican colleges stood up and WAVED the amendments for everyone to see! Update: LMAO! Someone just stood up and asked for a moment of silence in remembrance of all the jobs that will be lost with the Cap and Trade bill. Update x2: Rep Joe Barton just said the goals of the bill are unachievable by 2050 because "you cant run a nuclear reactor on an airplane". I saw the rush stuff, but I hadn't seen the Savage stuff. Just way over the top. So, let me get this straight... some how, the Obama team marked Stanford as a 2012 canidate 9+ years ago, they started Sanford's friendship with this lady 9 years ago so it can bloom into a full blown affair by mid-2008 so that when Obama was inaugurated as President in 2009 he can exploit it to knock him out of the race. UPDATE: So, Savage says that Gov. Sanford love e-mails were held until now (they were given to the newspaper in December) because now is the time to release them to distract people from Obama's "failures". Here's an idea, they reported them because the moron left the country for 5 days and no one knew where he was!!! So when he came back, he had to admit to the affair. Once he admitted to it, they released them!! It's not that hard.

As many of you know, I work in an environment where all democrat ideas are the work of satan and republican ideas are the gift of god, ok, over exaggerated, but you get the idea... democrat ideas are bad.
