QUOTE(StrangeSox @ Mar 5, 2008 -> 10:53 AM)
I have lost interest in election 2008 again. Wake me up after the infighting.
I thought that last night as well. i am pretty much shutting myself off from the major 24/7 news networks. I'm overloaded. I already voted, i dont need to follow this until there is a nominee. Then I get to vote foe Barack or Ralph Nader (if Hillary is nominated)
QUOTE(3E8 @ Mar 4, 2008 -> 10:52 PM)
Not so fast Dallas, Harris, and Travis are the biggest counties in Texas they are not even half reported combined and Obama will get 60+% there
Travis is nearly 80% in, so that ill be minor. But look at Travis...
QUOTE(fathom @ Mar 4, 2008 -> 10:45 PM)
Down 50k with 54 pct in.
Interesting to note that Dallas County is 54% in with Obama 52,242. If that projects out... Obama COULD close that gap.
QUOTE(fathom @ Mar 4, 2008 -> 10:29 PM)
I'm watching "300" right now, so any update on when the big precincts will be reporting in Texas?
Dalls COunty has 35% reporting, with Obama leading 63-37. (113,893-65,946)
QUOTE(Greg The Bull Luzinski @ Mar 4, 2008 -> 10:27 PM)
I have come to the conclusion that if the devil had a vagina, her name would be Hilary.
That takes the cake. Quote of the week!
QUOTE(fathom @ Mar 4, 2008 -> 10:23 PM)
My mother-in-law and Mark Prior.
I think Bush and Chaney might be on my list, but I am more like apathetic towards them. They are not worth my time to hate.
QUOTE(Greg The Bull Luzinski @ Mar 4, 2008 -> 10:20 PM)
I have trouble putting in to words how much I loath HRC.
same here. I have reviewed my 24+ years of life to think of there was anyone I truly hated with great contempt. To the best I can recall, there are none. Not a single person. THere are people who i disagreed with or just never got along with, but never hate. Hillary... i hate.
QUOTE(Jimbo's Drinker @ Mar 4, 2008 -> 10:15 PM)
can you tell me when she is done? thanks
sorry, already changed the channel. Ralph nader is on The Daily Show. lol
QUOTE(fathom @ Mar 4, 2008 -> 10:10 PM)
If HRC wins Texas, the media will never let us hear the end of the "comeback kid" crap.
ahh yes. the 20 point lead that falls to 1% is a great comeback... for Obama.
QUOTE(Balta1701 @ Mar 4, 2008 -> 10:04 PM)
Only 35% of the districts there have reported. Typically the latter districts to report are the larger, more urban districts in almost every election.
Agreed. With 39%, it's down to 14,816
QUOTE(Balta1701 @ Mar 4, 2008 -> 08:28 PM)
Rhode Island called for Clinton, breaking her losing streak.
Props to winning the smallest state in the union. lol
Texas Exit Polls (CNN):
Men (43%): Obama - 52%; Clinton - 46%
Women (57%): Obama - 46%; Clinton - 53%
So, according to my math, the TOTAL exit polls are as follows:
Obama - 48.58%
Clinton - 49.99%
THAT is a tight race
Let the spin begin:
MSNBC TV is reporting that the Clinton campaign is holding an "emergency conference call" due to "irregularities", "intimidation" and "people obtaining caucus material illegally"
