  1. QUOTE(Balta1701 @ Feb 5, 2008 -> 10:37 PM) Missouri: Clinton 49 Obama 48 91 % reporting. Obama is going to take MO
  2. QUOTE(Balta1701 @ Feb 5, 2008 -> 10:35 PM) Those endorsements cut it in half. They cut it in half LITERALLY over night.
  3. McCain talks... is he the most BORING political speaker ever? he sounds so flat and unexcited. He just reads from a prompter.
  4. QUOTE(kapkomet @ Feb 5, 2008 -> 10:27 PM) Now I haven't read the last 8 pages of the thread, but for me, as I have just caught up, it's pretty much shaping up much like I thought. Hillarity is pulling down a lot more then what people thought, I think... or am I wrong? I think you are wrong. it's almost completely even. Hillary is "narrowly" winning big states while Obama has big wins in "minor" states. They even out. Depending on how CA turns... Obama may actually WIN today.
  5. Reddy, Edwards pulling 11% in Utah
  6. Take a look at this. Hillary will probably win CA, but it's going to be close...
  7. QUOTE(KipWellsFan @ Feb 5, 2008 -> 10:03 PM) Obama only down 5% now in Missouri, but only 22% left to report. He is pulling HUGE numbers in St. Louis with only 60+% reporting in that area.
  8. QUOTE(DBAH0 @ Feb 5, 2008 -> 10:03 PM) Where are you getting those tables of percentages from athomeboy? CNN.com
  9. Obama closing FAST in MO...
  10. QUOTE(Reddy @ Feb 5, 2008 -> 10:00 PM) i don't think you can call UT yet... MSNBC called it when the polls closed. So, the close results so far are probably not representative.
  11. QUOTE(Balta1701 @ Feb 5, 2008 -> 09:55 PM) Stealing liberally. This is the breakdown so far... Obama: UT (called by MSNBC), KS, ND, CO, ID, AL, DE, MN, CT, IL, GA Clinton: NJ, MA, NY, TN, AR, MO, OK, AZ (trending HRC) Up for grabs (no results so far): NM, CA, AK
  12. QUOTE(Balta1701 @ Feb 5, 2008 -> 09:52 PM) Obama has won a majority of the states up for grabs today, for whatever that counts for. That was their strategy. They wanted to keep it close in Hillary states (NY, NJ, CT, MO) and pick off a LOT of the "minor" states that the media and Clinton largely ignored. By winning the "minor" states by LARGE margins, he picks up a lot of delegates easier than having to spend lots of mony in larger states. it was a very smart strategy and it seems to have worked well. People seem to think states like MN, ID, and ND are not important. But they have 72, 18, 13 delegates respectively.
  13. QUOTE(Tony82087 @ Feb 5, 2008 -> 09:51 PM) Haha, I put on The Office. Even better!
  14. Obama speaks last, huh? Leave the best for last
  15. QUOTE(Reddy @ Feb 5, 2008 -> 09:49 PM) right. everything hinges on CA and I think a 6 point lose by Obama is a HUGE win.
  16. Hillary speaks... quick... bathroom break time. hehehe
  17. QUOTE(Reddy @ Feb 5, 2008 -> 09:46 PM) well thank god Obama's in the race then... thing is, Christian beliefs are fine - but when you plan to dramatically overhaul the constitution to fit those beliefs i just think that's plain WRONG. why are YOUR beliefs more important than those of the rest of the country? Oh dont get me wrong. His comment about redoing the constitution to look more like the bible even made me twitch.
  18. QUOTE(Balta1701 @ Feb 5, 2008 -> 09:44 PM) Link I've been saying this for a while and note the post a few pages back where I showed how 2 Obama wins can easily negate narrow win by Hildog in a major state. He can come out close... if not ahead by tonight's end.
  19. QUOTE(Reddy @ Feb 5, 2008 -> 09:43 PM) why havent they projected MO for Clinton yet? it's pretty obvious... their polls must clearly show it being closer than the current results show.
  20. QUOTE(Reddy @ Feb 5, 2008 -> 09:41 PM) if he were to get it........... i THINK he'd be stompable, but i worry about how well he may be able to mobilize that good ole' religious right... This is why I hate being an independent. I am a "moral" conservative but a "economic" liberal. So, I dont support abortion, but I like universal health care. So, i love Obama and some of his stands.... but on the other I love Huckabee and his strong Christian beliefs. If Obama were not in the race, i'd lean huckabee.
  21. QUOTE(Reddy @ Feb 5, 2008 -> 09:39 PM) i'm amazed he's gotten as much support as he has tonight. makes me happy. I knew it would
  22. Huckabee is putting up one heck of a fight.
  23. Edwards getting 9% on AZ. not bad.
  24. Romeny's crowd chant is "they haven't"? how lame.
