QUOTE(Rex Kicka** @ Feb 5, 2008 -> 07:33 PM) CNN calls TN for Clinton. Not a suprise

QUOTE(Rex Kicka** @ Feb 5, 2008 -> 07:32 PM) Really surprising is that neither CT or NJ have been called for Clinton yet. Arkansas called for Clinton and Huckabee, unsurprisingly. Obama is leading in CT and NJ has less than 1% reporting. it could be that Clinton favored districts are the only ones reporting so far.

Early returns show a strong showing by Obama in MO and MA. Probably wont win, but could be within 7%. THAT'S a win for Obama.

QUOTE(sox4lifeinPA @ Feb 5, 2008 -> 05:58 PM) with fiddy cent and Jenna Jameson backing you, seriously, how can Hillary lose? wait, Jenna is endorsing Hillary? DAMN! you tell me now! I already voted.

CNN and MSNBC calls Georgia for Obama the MOMENT the polls close.

QUOTE(BigSqwert @ Feb 5, 2008 -> 03:18 PM) MSNBC.com Live Feed Interesting note: The MSNBC online stream is 3 seconds AHEAD of my cable feed. Very interesting. Normally there is a significant lag for the internet version of an event.

QUOTE(Balta1701 @ Feb 5, 2008 -> 05:13 PM) But in terms of their motivation, here's an alternate one...their campaign is out of money and needs any free air time it can get. that too.

Just voted for the first time. Walked right in. no problems. As I was leaving.. a line out the door. Perfect timing Those touch screens are really slick. I like them a lot. especially since they have a paper trail. You Rock Barack!

QUOTE(BigSqwert @ Feb 5, 2008 -> 03:18 PM) Well she's on now. MSNBC.com Live Feed I already have MSNBC on my TV here in my office

QUOTE(BigSqwert @ Feb 5, 2008 -> 03:16 PM) That Nora O'Donnell on MSNBC is quite a looker. Carry on. I have a HUGE crush on her. I'll watch any time she's on. WOW! is all I can say. STUNNING eyes.

Clinton campaign wants more debates! I think they want Obama debating so he has less time to campaign. Campaigning erodes Hillary's support wherever he goes.

QUOTE(NorthSideSox72 @ Feb 5, 2008 -> 12:39 PM) I think Obama pulls an upset in CA (if its even an upset at this point), and wins by 4. My predictions, just for fun... those are very similar to my projections as well.

QUOTE(NorthSideSox72 @ Feb 5, 2008 -> 12:39 PM) Illinois is an open primary, so, yes. Also, I am not even sure you CAN register a party in Illinois. when i registered a few months ago, i dont recall there being an option on the registration form to choose a party.

QUOTE(kapkomet @ Feb 5, 2008 -> 11:15 AM) They're all useless. But he's more useless because he doesn't live in reality and has a quite obnoxious base, thank you very much. his ideas are interesting. the problem is no one took him seriously because he would go off the wall when asked a question and his supporters are BEYOND annoying. If he had come in and looked and acted like someone who should be president, he might have got more respect.

When will Ron Paul drop out? He is spending MILLIONS of dollars and winning nothing. In contested states, he doesn't even top 10%.

QUOTE(BigSqwert @ Feb 5, 2008 -> 09:19 AM) Anyone else going to Obama's Illinois victory rally tonight? not in the weather tonight.

I just crunched some more numbers. Based on the most recent polls, I am willing to make the following projection: After SDOGPEIT Tuesday, the total delegate counts will be in the following ranges... One democrat will have 909 delegates, the other will have 890. I am calling 920 the "upper bound". Meaning, no one candidate will have more than 920 delegates. The other will have no less than 879 delegates. So, a difference of 41 delegates at the max.

QUOTE(NorthSideSox72 @ Feb 5, 2008 -> 09:09 AM) Its American Samoa PLUS other dems abroad - which is 10 pledged according to Wiki, and 11 pledged according to the source I cited. Plus the supers from the pacific rim to make it 22 or 23. ooohhh... i missed the "other pacific-area Americans" part. my mistake.

QUOTE(NorthSideSox72 @ Feb 5, 2008 -> 07:42 AM) First results are in, for American Samoa and other pacific-area Americans abroad... Obama: 75% Clinton: 25% So, of the 22 delegates, that will split roughly to 16 for Obama and 6 for Clinton. Results are still be validated. No big surprise here. A.S. only has 3 pledged delegates... http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Democratic_Pa...primaries,_2008

QUOTE(Athomeboy_2000 @ Feb 4, 2008 -> 04:41 PM) UH OH! Just found a HUGE problem. Thanks to my wife for catching this for me. I got a piece of mail from the "Cook County Clerk's Office" that had all the election information: date, time, early voting sites, how to vote, ect.. the problem.... they told me the wrong place to go!! I live in Roselle, but it was telling me to go vote in Schuamburg. Seemed kinda odd... but ok. BUT, the place where i was to vote was pretty far down the road. Didn't seem very close. My wife pulled up voterinfonet.com and checked to see if she was registered. She wasnt, but she noticed I was and my voting place was DIFFERENT than the one sent out by the "Cook County Clerk's Office". It's much closer than the other place and is actually in Roselle. This could be a problem come tomorrow. Problm solved... I called and talked to a representative. They had her listed as living on SOUTH Plum Grove Road... which is in Schaumburg. We are on NORTH Plum Grove Road. HOW DOES THAT WORK? South Plum Grove Rd is NORTH of North Plum Grove Road? my head hurts! lol anyways. They made the correction.
