  1. QUOTE(Linnwood @ Dec 13, 2007 -> 01:52 PM) http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_Major...Mitchell_Report DAMN! well done to all who complied that.
  2. QUOTE(Balta1701 @ Dec 13, 2007 -> 01:49 PM) That sounds like he was asking someone else to inject him. no no. you mised the context. "he observed two of his Chicago Cubs teammates inject themselves with steroids in an apartment....He said that one of the players brought the steroids to the apartment but was afraid of needles and therefore asked the second player to administer the shot.' What he is saying that Player A brought them but didnt like needless, so Player B injected Player A while Karchner watched.
  3. QUOTE(Balta1701 @ Dec 13, 2007 -> 01:46 PM) But the phrase earlier printed in this thread presents him as both a supplier and as a user. I would certainly count him. It says he was OFFERED them and saw them used, no direct evidence that he used them.
  4. QUOTE(longshot7 @ Dec 13, 2007 -> 01:41 PM) See, the problem with a list like this is the example of Matt Karchner. He's in the report as someone who willingly talked to the panel about members of the 1999 Chicago Cubs he personally saw inject - not because he himself used. Good catch. I'll remove him.
  5. QUOTE(Controlled Chaos @ Dec 13, 2007 -> 01:40 PM) It is pretty crazy how many played for them. not sure how many use WHILE with the cubs. But a lot sure went through them. Sox have one for sure.
  6. QUOTE(Mplssoxfan @ Dec 13, 2007 -> 01:36 PM) Whether Don Fehr will allow it, I don't know. He almost has to. his nuts are against the wall.
  7. QUOTE(Linnwood @ Dec 13, 2007 -> 01:34 PM) It wasn't just on ESPN. I'm watching on the MLB.tv thing, and I heard that too. oh great. here comes a terrorist attack
  8. QUOTE(Chisoxfn @ Dec 13, 2007 -> 01:32 PM) Is their any complete list of the players out there yet? Or will it take a bit for someone to actually read through the report and give us a complete straight out listing of each player. This was the list as best as I could put together. 9. QUOTE(Balta1701 @ Dec 13, 2007 -> 01:29 PM) That doesn't appear to be what the report says. The report says he sent Radomski a bottle while he was on tampa for testing. That does not mean he wasn't using them before he sent that bottle to Radomski; in fact, it suggests he was on it at least some time beforehand, because he was able to recognize that he got a crappy shipment. yea, i caught that too. He'd been using for a while.

  11. QUOTE(Linnwood @ Dec 13, 2007 -> 01:08 PM) Is there a list in the PDF? It's not a continuous list. It's basically Name followed by the evidence against them.
  12. In the report are photocopies of actual CHECKS written to Kirk Radomski.
  13. QUOTE(Steve9347 @ Dec 13, 2007 -> 12:59 PM) The report will be available in PDF on mlb.com momentarily. I just downloaded it. 409 pages
  14. QUOTE(GoSox05 @ Dec 13, 2007 -> 11:35 AM) The Sox new slogan should be. "We may suck, but at least we don't cheat".
  15. QUOTE(nitetrain8601 @ Dec 13, 2007 -> 11:24 AM) I'd still sign Prior right now. His value has nowhere to go but up. Thought crossed my mind too. Not sure yet.
  16. There is an argument that well, they were hall of famers before before staroids, so they still deserve to go in. Well, Pete Rose isnt in the hall. While they are different situations, as a PLAYER Pete Rose was a LOCK for the hall of fame. You can NOT have it both ways. Either they deserve to be in, or they do not. If the policy is to ban those who viotaed rules or were "unethical", then it applies to all.
  17. QUOTE(Steve9347 @ Dec 13, 2007 -> 11:05 AM) Milton Bradley hmmmmm..... roid rage anyone?
  18. ESPN is already starting the spin. Well, these players are ASSOCIATED with steroids. They never tested positive. That's all we have knowledge of right now.
