  1. QUOTE (KyYlE23 @ Feb 17, 2012 -> 12:27 PM) I would love it too. But it would have to be motion capture Avatar-style imo Dont bet me excited thinking of an Avatar version of Thundercats.
  2. QUOTE (Steve9347 @ Feb 17, 2012 -> 11:56 AM) Why does it have to be Michael Bay? I'd prefer JJ Abrams
  3. QUOTE (GoSox05 @ Feb 16, 2012 -> 10:50 AM) Congressional Birth Control Hearing Involves Exactly Zero People Who Have a Uterus This was posted on Facebook by the husband of a friend of mine. He kind of has a point here: Leaders of the Catholic Church (and the other faiths). If you really stand by your principals and oppose abortion and the contraception mandate. Excommunicate the Catholic Reps and Senators that support them. Otherwise, your arguments are just show.
  4. Hyundai Sonata is absolutely my recommendation. I have a 2004 and LOVE it. My gas millage was about 33mpg (havent tracked it recently). I can go round-trip from Schaumburg,IL to Iowa City,IA on a single tank of gas (but I'd be almost empty when I get home). So, yes. Hyundai anything is a great option. Both of my cars are Hyundai and my parents just bought a Hyundai. AND, you can feel good since I think the Sonata and Santa Fe are made in America.
  5. I have a huge crush on the Evil Queen/Regina Mills (played by Lana Parrilla) in Once Upon a Time.
  6. Michael Bay to Reboot Ninja Turtles
  7. Mitt Romney: I Would Have Rescued Detroit, Too! So, Romeny's plan (as of today) to save the auto industry in 2009 is to let them go bankrupt then help them. So, his plan was to let the house burn to the ground then show up with the firetruck.
  8. QUOTE (greg775 @ Feb 15, 2012 -> 09:42 PM) But the Royals didn't have to play elsewhere for a year. They just did the ugly construction work during the season and during any warm weather they had after the season. Also, Wrigley will probably need to be torn to the bones. The guts (concourses, bathrooms, walk ways, ect) need major work as well as some structural improvements (remember the falling concrete?). If they want to add wider seats/aisles and add leg room, it's a LOT of work.
  9. QUOTE (Balta1701 @ Feb 15, 2012 -> 09:13 AM) This one was particularly shareable. As someone who works for a church, that line about allowing churches to keep $100 billion in offerings and "persecute my ass like that" was really damn funny.
  10. QUOTE (Rowand44 @ Feb 15, 2012 -> 10:41 AM) Not the real D'Antoni but funny none the less. ohh man. Didnt actually look at the profile info. Damn it.
  11. QUOTE (southsider2k5 @ Feb 15, 2012 -> 08:52 AM) I am sure the computers plus a site like Milwaukee would be utilized. Do they use computers? I would assume so, but I read somewhere that a lot of the NHL schedule is still done by hand.
  12. QUOTE (southsider2k5 @ Feb 15, 2012 -> 07:52 AM) Coach D'Antoni @Coach_D_Antoni Floyd Mayweather thinks Jeremy Lin is overrated, which is funny because Jeremy Lin has managed to be undefeated without ducking anybody. That's one of the best comebacks I've seen in a long time. Well done coach!
  13. This is from December, but I'm not sure how I missed it: How the Voice of Tech Leaked His Own Sex Chat
  14. I now have evidence for my wife to NOT get a breast reduction like she wants: Huge-breasted model walks away from horror crash after her 38KKK chest acts as airbag
  15. QUOTE (southsider2k5 @ Feb 14, 2012 -> 02:43 PM) I would imagine they would have to have an alternate site lined up. Imagine if one team had a series of rain outs? yea. Seems like the Cell would be used 6-7 days a week. No room to schedule rain delays
  16. QUOTE (Harry Chappas @ Feb 14, 2012 -> 02:41 PM) I wonder if they would try and play at Miller Park at all? I think it makes sense to keep it in the city if at all possible. Why make fans drive the extra distance?
  17. QUOTE (robinventura23 @ Feb 14, 2012 -> 11:59 AM) Have them play @ Alexian Field. It has the same dimensions of Wrigley, anyway. Except its capacity is 35,374 less than Wrigley.
  18. This is probably a topic for another thread. But I really think that with the trend towards publicly financed stadiums (in all sports) and some markets with multiple teams, those teams should be forced to share the same stadium if its built with public money. Scheduling might be harder for MLB teams, but it works in LA (NBA) and NJ (NFL).
  19. QUOTE (southsider2k5 @ Feb 14, 2012 -> 10:41 AM) You'd end up with one of the lines at like 250-275 feet. More like 210 at Soldier Field if home plate is practical against one of the walls. You could get about 235 if you remove portions of the lower bowl. You can get about 235 at Toyota park. So, no. If the Cubs want to play in Chicago, they need to head south to the cell.
  20. QUOTE (southsider2k5 @ Feb 14, 2012 -> 10:12 AM) Most football stadiums aren't big enough all of the way around to put baseball dimensions into. I remember talking about this a few years back. There's no way a baseball field could fit in Soldier field or Toyota park.
  21. This is an excellent Op-Ed on Romeny and his ties to Michigan: Michigan to Romney: Go away By LZ Granderson,
  22. QUOTE (Rowand44 @ Feb 12, 2012 -> 09:14 PM) Kate Beckinsale and Carrie Underwood are perfection. Especially when Kate Beckinsale is in skin tight leather or using her british accent.
