North Korea = next to and a friend of China. Korean War was effectively USA fighting China. Connect the dots.

I would think that when the article becomes over a week old that re-printing it wouldn't be as frowned upon.

http://www.soxtalk.com/forums/index.php?sh...ic=38687&st=282 QUOTE(knightni @ Aug 19, 2005 -> 01:46 PM) You know, I think there are quite a few lurkers here, because I have made rumors in the past that have come up other places. I think that, with Futuresox and a few other members here with "inside" information sometimes, that people visiting here can take our speculation as a quotable rumor.

Thornton Tips His Pitches..
A side note to the whole incident: 'It was later pointed out to Baines that his failed attempt at getting out of the way of Mackowiak's ball was the quickest that anyone had recalled him moving in quite awhile.'

- Cubs' reliever Scott Williamson on trading block
QUOTE(fathom @ Mar 4, 2006 -> 10:13 AM) Considering that they gave up Wilkerson for Soriano, this would be an awful deal for the Nats. Williamson can't be counted on to stay healthy (Nats have a good bullpen as it is), and Hairston isn't exactly MLB starting caliber. Soriano would hit 40 homers if he played at Wrigley. How's that Nats BP now?- CAUTION EMAIL

*THIS READTHAY IS BEING ONITOREDMAY*- The official Soxtalk 2006 predictions thread
Hermanson and Pods are question marks in the early part of the season and then finally Hermy breaks down in August. Contreras comes back to earth and is relegated to the bullpen and BMAC replaces him by July. Thome bounces back and hits 30 HRs, but K's 150 times. Konerko hits under .250 the first half, recovers to hit .270 overall by the end of the season. Jenks shows signs of arm troubles and wildness, gets 20 saves splitting time with Politte. The Sox trade for a veteran bullpen guy to replace Hermanson at the deadline but the 05 magic is gone. The Sox win the division but lose in the ALDS to Oakland. Sorry to be the old POPPY here guys.- Your Final 4
