  1. QUOTE(Iwritecode @ Feb 11, 2005 -> 01:53 PM) I'm sure guilt and shame had a lot to do with her keeping it bottled up for 20 years. Who knows what those guys threated to do if she ever told anyone. Now that she has undeniable proof that it happend, I'm sure she would like to see justice served. Uh.. well...
  2. True, but you have been a member for quite awhile, so I wasn't really considering you when I made that comment. I meant newer members.
  3. Well, it was just my general observation on gauging activity. Nothing personal was meant.
  4. QUOTE(ihatethecubs @ Feb 11, 2005 -> 01:15 PM) so the husband was wrong for watching the child porn in the first place... Well.. he CLAIMED that he didn't know that it was child porn.
  5. Yeah, I thought of that as well... I think the husband knew it was child porn. He just got shocked by seeing that it was someone he knew.
  6. Just my opinion, but if a member here averages over 5 posts per day on Soxtalk, then they will probably be an active fantasy player. If people don't have the time to post here, they might not have the time to be active in the fantasy league.

  9. QUOTE(TheDybber @ Feb 10, 2005 -> 02:47 PM) He just talked himself out of Philly and right into the arms of some crap-ass team as their 4th or 5th WR. What a dumbass. Yeah, Minnesota possibly. Hehehe. Moss will be heading to Baltimore in a few months.

  11. QUOTE(KevHead0881 @ Feb 9, 2005 -> 04:26 PM) Apparently that monkey already has a job typing your posts.
  12. steeple=spire Spires tend to be the names of the larger buildings' pointy things.
  13. That pointy thing that stick out of the top of churches.
  14. QUOTE(SoxFan562004 @ Feb 10, 2005 -> 11:19 AM) they help recovery time, so a pitcher could use them in the off-season to increase the intensity of their workouts, then cycle off and maintain some of the mass. Also, there's different types of steriods... Winstrall will help cut your look up, but also increase recovery time, which is what a relief pitcher may want That's probably true, but I have heard about guys "off the record" saying that they have tried them, but that they didn't help them as a pitcher because it made them less flexible and sent them to the DL more often.
  15. This will be the first "royal" wedding where the groom gives the bride a diamond studded dog collar.
  16. QUOTE(Gene Honda Civic @ Feb 9, 2005 -> 07:10 PM) Because Scott Podsednik's defense has been lauded as one of his strong suits, Uh, I thought people were saying that SPod's defense was his problem, not his strong suit.
  17. Steroids don't help pitchers pitch better. Steroids bulk you up, and reduce flexibility.
  18. Then, there should be a non-Sox "baseball talk only" area created. Any movement in Major League Baseball affects the White Sox one way or another.
  19. Sorry, Pale Hose Talk IMO, is only for stuff about the White Sox.
  20. QUOTE(AddisonStSox @ Feb 9, 2005 -> 12:46 PM) Its there already. This has nothing to do with the Pale Hose. That was kind of my point, Addy.
  21. QUOTE(ChiSoxyGirl @ Feb 8, 2005 -> 09:57 AM) That (Victory Auto Wreckers) and the Eagleman commercials. Ohhhh, look at those loooow rates. Those commercials haven't changed for at least AT LEAST 10 years. More than 20 years for the Victory commercial.
