Blame Jordan, not us. Hernandez is not the pitcher he was in 1996. His ERA is a lot higher and his fastball isn't as over-powering. Middle relief would be interesting yes.... but he will never be a closer again. At least for the Sox.

Lately, the problem has been the Sox killing themselves with their relief pitching. They haven't had huge trouble with any starter in quite awhile.

I'm assuming that she wasn't paying attention to the game. If you get hit that hard by a Darren Lewis foul ball you weren't watching the game. Darren Lewis is no Mark McGwire when it comes to bat speed. She probably came to the game to chat with her friends, talk on her cell phone and read a novel. If she was paying attention, she could have gotten out of the way.

I have a feeling that that sig might not be around too long.

6/10/04 I thought I would start a game thread since I have never had a shot at doing so before. So.....

It's impossible to remove the background from a net that small... I can see the background around the edges of the players in your sigs as well by the way...

Baguette De France and Jersey Mike's are good here. I also enjoy my local pizza joint's combo hot ham/pepperoni sub and barbecue beef sub. Baguette grills the subs and they have special sauces. Jersey Mike's makes cold subs, but with anything you could think of putting on bread. Subway is a waste of money in my opinion when so many individual places do such a better job. Quizno's is overrated as well...
