I was on Bulletin Board Systems prior to the Internet, so I've been on some sort of "online" situation since at least 1992. ESPN2 was huge with the scroll at the bottom of the page; but prior to that, I'd either watch the late SportsCenter or read the newspaper the next morning. In fact, I used to play in a fantasy baseball league that did transactions by phone and weekly stats by mail.
