QUOTE (SHIPPS @ Sep 12, 2009 -> 02:32 PM) 1 year away from drunkedness. Have a good one. I have my doubts that being 20 is stopping him, Shipps.

Has a KW mid-season move backfired more than Rios?

I'm just saying that he'll be here longer than one more season. -

I guess that we'll all just have to wait until November to decide whether or not it should be in green. -

Michigan could be better than Ohio State this year. -
Won't you be pissed when Verlander takes it because his team wins.

QUOTE (zenryan @ Sep 12, 2009 -> 08:22 PM) Problem is Weis never beats the teams he isnt suppose to beat. BC is bad so they should win that game but 9-3 isnt a good season with that schedule this year. It's BCS or bust for Charlie. You don't think that 9 wins can get ND a low BCS bid? -

Part of it is the NCAA Refs calling tougher on holding calls this season. Penalties killed both teams. -

QUOTE (MexSoxFan#1 @ Sep 12, 2009 -> 08:20 PM) I'll admit that I have been as fustrated with Rios this year but let's give him one full season before we throw him to the curb. ...have I got bad news for you, then... -

QUOTE (Jenksismyb**** @ Sep 12, 2009 -> 08:18 PM) Neither team was very impressive. Neither team is a top 25 team. And way to coach em up Weis. How many penalties took points off the board today? A missed FG and a foot down half centimeter out of bounds cost ND 10 points. -

QUOTE (Brian @ Sep 12, 2009 -> 08:04 PM) Were 1 of those 2 or 3 losses suppose to be to Michigan? Doubt it. They play a 12 team schedule this year. 7 home, 4 road, 1 neutral. USC, Pitt, BC and Michigan can be the four losses and they can still win 8. Mich St Purdue Washington Washington St Stanford Connecticut Navy Nevada are winable games. -
I guess it all depends on whether the Sox are still in it after this week.

QUOTE (The Bones @ Sep 12, 2009 -> 08:06 PM) Because we were proven right about how the media shoves the greatness of ND down our throats even when it's unwarranted. No, because you are annoying sore winners who want to rub things into people's faces for self-satisfaction.

QUOTE (The Bones @ Sep 12, 2009 -> 07:36 PM) What are you talking about?! ND was supposed to roll over Michigan and into the National Championship game. Lou Holtz told me so. Lou Holtz doesn't speak for anyone but the private jet/condo fans from the coasts. This team is an 8 or 9 win team, not a National Championship caliber team. -
QUOTE (The Bones @ Sep 12, 2009 -> 07:41 PM) Hahahahahaha...so much for those national title hopes. This is why is despise haters.

QUOTE (PeavyTime @ Sep 12, 2009 -> 07:48 PM) Obviously they'd bench Torres but why does it matter when the next time we'd need a 5th starter would be? I don't know if they'd want guys to pitch on 5 days rest or not. Seems to me that you'd be less sharp than you'd be on 4 days rest.

If they are overrated yet Michigan barely beat them, does that make Michigan overrated too? -
QUOTE (greg775 @ Sep 12, 2009 -> 04:34 PM) I still don't know what the big deal is about getting him one or two starts this season. With the way our season has gone, he'll probably screw up his arm. Why the urge to pitch him once or twice? I guess we're clinging to the hope we can sweep Detroit. You know, it's better to hope for the best, than to expect the worst. You asked why people boo certain players, it's because they don't settle and don't expect the worst. They want winning, even if the team is out of it. If you get complacent, you become like a Pirates fan and never care whether your team wins or not. Don't give up until the season's over. Your psyche would be healthier for it.
-
QUOTE (PeavyTime @ Sep 12, 2009 -> 04:34 PM) I don't think this matters. Unless you think they'd bench Freddy, which I don't see happening. Why would they bench Freddy? If anything they bench Torres. Buehrle Floyd Danks Garcia Peavy

QUOTE (hammerhead johnson @ Sep 12, 2009 -> 02:26 PM) True. I think I'd leave San Francisco out of it, but I agree on the rest. I included them because I've heard a few people thinking that they could be a surprise team this year. http://bleacherreport.com/articles/120838-...eam-predictions http://www.footballdiner.com/jodyjamieson48.html http://www.associatedcontent.com/article/1...st_in_2009.html

With off days, Sept 21 vs. Min is the next day that they'll need a #5 starter.
