I wonder if the Sox would ever think about out right releasing Koch after the ASB? His contract is up this year anyway so why not? Yes they'd have to pay him but its better than having him blow more games. IMO

Why exactly would you not want Wunsch back? He was one of the best relievers last season for the Sox. He has to be better than some of the stiffs we have in the pen.

This is certainly the worst thing that can happen for the NHL. There are 2 things I can think of to salvage the NHL. First contract up to 6 teams and then remove the red line. Removing the red line will open the game up dramaticly. You don't have to worry about the "Trap" garbage anymore. A team will need to keep a Dman back to guard against a "Cherry picker". Anyway, a lockout or strike is not something the NHL can endure at all. These players and their agents need to open their eyes. The NHL does not have the same following as MLB or NFL do.

Ramon has been solid out of the pen for the Angels but as a starter he has sucked big time. I wouldn't want this trade either but was wondering if anyone else heard this. So many damn rumors flying around now. I do hope KW pulls off something good very soon. I am getting too damn impatient.

Myself I would love to see Beltran in a Sox uni...but the price to get him is going to be too steep and I say forget about Beltran. KC will ask the world for him and the Sox shouldn't give it to them to get a one year rental player.

They were reporting on the Score about this breakdown. I guess Cowley reported that when Mags denied the report of him turning down the 5yr $70 contract offer. Mags was telling the truth because the Sox never had an offer like that even on the table. Typical Sox on this, trying to low ball their superstar. If the Sox end up losing Mags, hopefully they will trade him and get something for him instead of letting him walk next year.

I am kind of wondering why the Sox haven't thought to bring up Josh Stewart still. Stewart didn't pitch too bad when he was up here last season and his biggest problem was lack of run support. He seems to be pitching fine in the minors.

Out of all the pitchers being tossed about I would really like it if the Sox could get Sabathia. He is a f***ing STUD. He could easily turn this staff into one of the best. I just don't see Cleveland wanting to trade him. Hopefully KW can pull off a trade soon to solidify this starting staff.

I seen on ESPN's Sox chat board that the Chubbies may be trying to work a deal for Urbina. If only the Sox would swoop in b4 them and get Urbina instead.
