i'd go for it at the beginning of last season this guy really showed that there is some untapped potential. Coop did a great job with E-Lo and i'd love to give him a shot with benson since so far Rauch and Stewart havent really panned out

i thought about that too, but we're warm blooded and they're cold blooded... it's much easier to slow their metabolism without killing them, then it is for warm blooded animals

im not too worried about this giving up leads late in the game thing... because right now these are all pitchers coming in to relieve that probably wont make the ML roster. As long as our offense and starting pitching is producing well thats what counts. (for the most part)

Israel, they probably dont believe that they're being taught a slanted history either... just as we dont. The truth, the actual truth, can never really be obtained. It is human nature to, sometimes inadvertantly, skew the truth to fit your needs. Just the way it is.

i'd hold off on any judgements of konerko till a little later in the season. There's no reason to believe he wont bounce back.

i dunno, sometimes it takes guys a while to get settled in, and from what i've seen so far this spring danny has started to settle in nicely. i think that wright will do well for us this year

i know borchard is gonna start in triple a, but frankly i'd rather have him up here as our back up OF instead of valenzuela or any of our other young guys who are showing a lot of promise. if maggs leaves, i want reed, valenzuela, these type guys to be able to come up full time and be productive. If they're sitting on the bench with the ML club they're not learning or growing as players. I'm kinda feeling the same about gload cuz he's got huge potential, but since he can play 4 diff positions i'm pretty sure he'll get some quality at bats in.

i'll agree that i'd take maggs over griffey as well, but keeping maggs doesnt look like a priority for our upper management... :fyou

honestly, if this move were to happen i'd be supportive of it. having a 23456 of lee-thomas-ordonez-griffey-konerko would honestly be one of the best lineups in the game... there are pros and cons but hell, if all we'd need to do is trade koch, i'd say go for it

i love a win as much as the next guy... but i still have a feeling ozzie is gonna have another chat with his pitching staff... the offense today was great, but giving up 6 runs or whatever it was in an inning is scary (and its ozzie we're talking about here)
