I think we should keep maggs BECAUSE of all our young outfield prospects. You dont want an outfield of Reed Sweeny Anderson right off the bat with little or no real experience. If we keep Maggs around for a while thats a huge presence to look up to and it gives us room in case one of these guys doesnt pan out which is entirely possible. I just think that having a veteran superstar would really help the young guys. So i dont think that those 3 are a good reason to ship maggs

There is no clear cut answer. The best option right now is to get the UN involved so that some how we can try as a WORLD to salvage this mess we've made. I know that it isnt likely to happen seeing as the whole world is as delighted to wait for the answer to you're question as you were, but really its the only safe way out. The only other thing I can see is that we try and get all our civilians back from Iraq, say f*** it, pull our troops and let the bastards fend for themselves... we could always give saddam back

ya know what, i think carlos would be a good fit for #2, but i also like rowand there even more. He's gonna have a break out year and is certainly better than either of the two up there right now. we could always lead off kong since he's obviously developed a helluva lotta speed in the off season

its not exactly a 'walk of fame' but on the interior 'concourse' on the club level they've got a thing all along the wall that commemorates all the greats of the white sox from the beginning of the team in 1900, its really cool. It goes all the way up to the past few years although it'd be nice to have something like that in an area where everyone can see it... not just club level ticket holders

I think the name fits him. Thats the way he was in Oakland too. He'd always get it like 3-2 and load the bases so there was crazy pressure. Then he'd strike out the next 3 batters... I still think he'll be back on this year. I like him

he's a good good player. He's got a consistantly high OBP, and his OPS is always around 900 plus the whole home run thing already mentioned... i really like the guy.

problem is this is kinda what happened last year. There were a bunch of times when he really did have a good outing but his offense or bullpen lost it. It seems like the same thing again... Granted I'm sure it's not a huge problem yet... but i'm sure mark thought about it. He'll bounce back this time though, and before the A-star break
