  1. Drunkbomber. Points up. but while their positions are literally above Paterno, nobody was "above" Paterno. Still to this moment, people believe that Joe Paterno had the ability to cover this up. Paterno was not the most powerful man in the state of Pennsylvania, my guess is that there are even a few people in the Govt. who dont like PSU, maybe they went to Pitt, Temple or Penn. The Governor in 1998 was Tom Ridge, who I assume was also more powerful than Joe Paterno.
  2. Drunkbomber. Points up. Right now, someone is saying that there is no one above Joe Paterno in the state of Pennsylvania. Think about that, no one in the entire state of Pennsylvania. Still to this moment, people are arguing that this cover up was perpetrated by Joe Paterno. There is your proof. Or here is Milkman QUOTE (Milkman delivers @ Nov 9, 2011 -> 11:34 PM) So wait, you're saying that the entire school or BOT is at fault there? Because I'd have to say that's incorrect. I seriously doubt very few people on the BOT knew about the allegations. It sounds like the buck got passed from McQueary to Paterno, and then from Paterno to Curley to Schultz. That seems to be about it. Once again, people saying that this cover up was merely 3 PEOPLE. And my response: So the very person attacking me (MilkMan) was one of the people who was saying that there was nothing else to see here. While I was saying That is what should be the most troublesome. That all of these incidents occurred and PSU is basically taking the position only 3 people knew. That just cant be. Do you need more evidence? Or is that enough to satisfy this nonsense, because Ive only gotten through November 10. (edit) And quite frankly I cant believe how civil Ive been in this thread when numerous times Milkman took pot shots at me.

Well the whole romance was awkward because Ani was like 9 when he meets Padame? I mean thats a seriously messed up relationship. Imagine ending up married to your babysitter. And Star Wars is all about awkward romance, you know the whole Luke/Leah thing. In terms of dialogue, I dont really remember any of them being amazing literary works.
  4. And I already addressed that statement was merely: It was hyperbole, maybe 10% were saying it, maybe 50% were saying it, it didnt matter to the point of the post. The point was, that I from the beginning said that it was likely a cover up that went above Joe Paterno. If everyone in this thread now wants to agree with that, so be it. But if you go back through my posts, you will constantly see that I do nothing more than respond to other people, who continually are arguing with me. It stands to reason if they are arguing against me, that they disagree with my point. Since I can only recall a handful of people agreeing with me, it is logical that the most disagreed. Maybe thats wrong, and people were arguing with me because they agreed with me, either way, I dont care.
  5. Is there some reason people keeping referring to me? Its pretty annoying, especially when the statements are not even close to true. In my opinion, most people did not care to really discuss what was going on, which was evidenced by my posts in November and my increasing frustration with the seeming lack of interest in who else committed crimes. Bottom line, believe whatever you want, Ive read all 68 pages numerous times, and its pretty clear that only a few people really cared to look further into this.If you think you were one of them, great, double thumbs up. I really dont care, the only reason I started posting in this thread was because people did not really understand what the Grand Jury Indictment was.

Revenge of the Sith Attack of the Clones The Phantom Menace I personally think 2 and 3 receive a lot of unnecessary heat because of the Jar Jar issue in 1.

Yea im contemplating seeing it in 3d. 1 was weak, but its Star Wars.

I would have gone: Nirvana, Alice in Chains, Pearl Jam, Sound Garden (of those listed). Black Hole Sun being played a million times on MTV didnt really help their case.

And now that I read this thread, LZ Physical Graffiti as their best album? Thats pretty controversial, personally I think the top tier of albums is 2 through Holy, then I and Physical. And even then I cant say which one is my top because it depends on the day, my mood and what intoxication. Also interesting to go with Dark Side as the top Pink Floyd record, because based on that I would have thought youd go with IV for LZ (both being the most commercially successful album). There is really no wrong choice with Pink Floyd, Dark Side, Animals, Wall all could be there, you could even argue Meddle and the song "One of these days" really is the starting point for their entire style.

I was a Nivrana fan, I was okay with Pearl Jam 10, but I always felt like there was beef between Pearl Jam and NIvrana, and I felt I had to rep. And basically after Cobain died and Foo Fighters went pop, I started to listen mainly to rap.
  11. Illini fans are generally no better or worse than anyone else in terms of refs. And speaking of refs anyone see the Minnesota Wisconsin game, thats a game where both fan bases are going to be pissed.
  12. She is a Pro Se Plaintiff and she has no idea what she is doing. That being said the amount demanded really is irrelevant (in certain counties it may determine if you are in municipal or law division or if its a small claims complaint different rules apply), she could file a lawsuit for $100 and say that the damages are ongoing and continuing and ultimately be awarded with $900 trillion if she was to be able to prove the damages. As a practical matter the amount claimed is usually your best shot, its a starting point for settlement etc.
  13. Im not sure suing for 900 trillion is a good way to convince people that you dont suffer from delusions...

For the question about bringing home a dog to cats, you may want to seclude the dog and let the cats smell around etc. There are different articles online, but since the cat is the "resident" you probably shouldnt be restricting its movement.
  15. Im fine with Knox as a 6th WR/ returner. But when you have Hester, it kind of makes Knox redundant. Its going to be a lot different next year no matter what, I assume that Tice isnt going to run a million different packages with different receivers seemingly on the bench or playing for no explainable reason.
  16. I dunno knight, if Im to believe Futurama, parasites are a good thing.

I like New Girl as well. I also think Zoey Deschanel is hot so that doesnt hurt.
  20. Carimi also played almost every game for Wisconsin over a 4 year period, so even with a slight concern he had already shown to be quite durable.

I thought River was decent enough.
  22. Littlehurt, Id love it if the SEC agreed. Id be quite interested to see Florida come up to Madison or Ann Arbor in December. Well see what happens, but thats my prediction.
  23. Strangesox, That wasnt the point of my last post. That was merely in reference to people who continue to state that Paterno is "the most influential man on campus" , when in my opinion there is likely someone more powerful than Paterno. Regardless, if everyone wants to say that they have been in agreement and that there is a bigger cover up, that is fine with me. But, my argument was with regard to the statement: Which is completely false. And that is not a zombie argument, because Steve for absolutely no reason and without any provocation, decided to post something that is completely fabricated. The rest was just window dressing, my comment was entirely about Steve's post and how completely distorted it is.
  24. Youll have to inform me what a zombia argument is as I am not familiar with the term.
