  1. Yeah I have an ex that is somewhat of a mess like that. Long story short, she dumped me, but whenever she has issues, she always wants me to fix them. She also thinks she has the right to tell me how to handle my life etc, when she does decide that she wants to talk with me. The only answer I have, is that she is upset with the decisions she has made, so she finds it necessary to try and boost herself at my expense. The last time I saw her, I basically told her she doesnt have the right to say s*** to me and that she needs to figure out her own nonsense. Girls always want what they cant have, so annoying.
  2. You mean: Today, 03:32 PM Because I clearly admitted I was wrong.
  3. You mean, I was doing something entirely different, relying entirely on memory and mixed up the day of the week. Yeah, it happens, Im far from perfect. That being said, MLB lost the day they had a test on Saturday, that required it to be shipped by Fedex, when Fedex doesnt ship on Sundays. Maybe they should use UPS, because I believe they do have some Sunday options.
  4. Balta, Basically yes. (Almost makes you wonder why MLB is testing on Saturday given the rules). If the collector took it to Fedex and left it there, MLB probably has a better argument in terms of chain of custody, but they also have a weaker argument in terms of "was the sample stored correctly". That being said, how can you have a policy and not specifically outline this very issue? Did they never think that there would be a test on Saturday/Sunday and there would need to be protocol for what they should do with the sample? Its strange, I just assumed that MLB wasnt stupid enough to do a test on a day they know the sample cant be sent for over 24 hours and have basically no guidelines as to what should be done. Kind of ridiculous.
  5. Yeah I thought Friday for some reason, going back and looking at the date, it appears that the collector was in a bad spot.
  6. I thought it was Friday, meaning he had the whole morning Saturday. Okay I was wrong, it appears to be October 1, which would have been Saturday. Given that information, it is a complete cluster, because yes Fedex was open, but no it wasnt doing deliveries.
  7. So in Wisconsin Fedex doesnt do weekend deliveries? Because according to Fedex, they do: http://www.fedex.com/us/customersupport/shipping/index.html And just so you know, 8 miles from the park is a 24 hour Fedex facility: FedEx Kinko's is now FedEx Office Print & Ship Center 17925 W Bluemound Rd Brookfield, WI 53045 (262) 792-1800 View details, directions & map Mon Open 24 Hours Tue Open 24 Hours Wed Open 24 Hours Thu Open 24 Hours Fri Open 24 Hours Sat Open 24 Hours Sun Open 24 Hours And it took express drop offs until 4pm on Saturday. It took me 1 minute to find this information, again I ask, what was the collector doing?
  8. The problem is factual inconsistencies. I believe there is evidence that FEDEX facilities were open that night, or at least on Saturday etc. Therefore if under oath the tester said "There were no other facilities", if that is not true, then 1) the tester lied or 2) the tester never really looked to see. Either way, youve got a problem because the entire case is built on the tester being a believable/credible witness, and within the first 5 seconds youve already destroyed it. The simplest question is: If you were so concerned about procedure and safeguarding the specimen, why did you not look to find other FEDEX facilities that night? If you were so concerned, etc, etc, why did you not look to find a facility immediately the next morning? (And the ultimate question that you never ask, but you argue) What were you doing for over 48 hours that prevented you from turning in the specimen? I assume in the future MLB will rectify these issues.

Steve, Zombies are like Vampires, depending on the universe, they have very different rules.

I dont believe Walking Dead has ever conclusively stated what the rules are in their universe for becoming a zombie. In the last episode they actually did touch on it "They dont appear to have any bite marks" but they really didnt "flesh" out the ideas. I thought in the Walking Dead universe there are no movies like 28 days later, etc, and that is how they explain the term "Walkers" instead of "Zombies" and why none of the characters reference zombie books/movies.
  11. Small ships, lots of space. Really hard to find.
  12. Ive never even seen the Pianist or Life is Beautiful, I thought maybe you meant Inglorious Bastards so I was kind of confused. Oscars are for a certain crowd, Im not part of that crowd, so I generally dont watch.

Screw you Fox and your stupid Daytona 500, id rather be watching regular programming.
  14. At first I thought it wasnt, but after a few views, it very well may be a young Rose.
  15. Are you saying that Schindler's List wasnt deserving?
  16. I basically do all my reading on computer, the only time I print things is if I need to bring them with me.
  17. Books wont seem to die, so I cant imagine book cases will either. I dont display any books, people know my feelings about them.
  18. I actually dont care, so whether you want to believe Braun is innocent or guilty, it really doenst matter a thing to me. And that will be the end of me posting in this thread.
  19. Yeah if Floyd posted a 4.42 hes going somewhere in the 1st.
  20. These articles are such sour grapes. Hearings are like sports, you either win or you lose. MLB lost, Braun is innocent. You can vehemently disagree that the Cardinals are the World Series Champs because you believe the Rangers were better, but the Cardinals are the Champs.
  21. Lin will never be a bust, unless you have no idea what the term bust is. Lin wasnt drafted, the fact hes had any impact in the NBA basically means he made more of an impact than most people thought. And Ive now played basketball with someone who played in a Celebrity Game (Tamika Catchings). I actually played with Felcia Ratay as well, and a picture of me was on ESPN for her Sportscenter thing.
