Weber was one of the better in game coaches in the Big 10.

lol MSU is the first to brag when they win the tournament and if they lose in the NCAA theyll be the first to point out they won the Big 10. They just say whatever they did is the "most important" that year. Not to mention your taking the comment pretty literally. MSU "ruined" Wisconsins year, but Wisconsin still was Big 10 Champ, won the Big 10 CCG and went to the Rose Bowl. Basically I meant "ruined" as, take something away that MSU believed they could get.

You can have a brand new facility and be the best home court in the nation. The difference is how nice the facilities look. You hear this all the time with Wisconsin football, that some of their facilities arent as nice or new as Minnesota etc, and thats why some recruits go there. I could be wrong, but as Ive grown up Ive watched Illinois slip and other Big 10 schools gain (not just basketball but all areas).

It really doesnt matter, Wisconsin doesnt have a job opening. But the next Illinois coach is going to have to beat Matta and Izzo for recruits, let alone Bo Ryan. Illinois needs to invest in their stadium.

MSU cares about winning the Big 10 and the tournament, Izzo and Ryan have a long history there.

As a Wisconsin fan Im happy because I doubt that Illinois can attract a coach as good as Weber. I know that Illinois was once good and all that, but Illinois facilities are not on the same level as Wisconsin (Kohl Center 1998), OSU (Schott, 1998) or even MSU (Breslin, 1989) Illinois really needs to invest in its sports programs, because there really is no reason that Illinois shouldnt be a contender in both basketball and football. The school itself has made some stupid decisions, but youd still think they can overcome them with such a large population.

Really happy for Rob Wilson. Guy has had some injury problems, short leash with Ryan etc, but from all accounts hes a great person (works with at risk youth and will be the first member of his family to graduate college.) As for the game, I think the better team won. Gotta question Crean going to the zone right away. As I was watching the game I immediately mentioned to my dad that it was a really risky plan because if Wisconsin started shooting well from the start it was likely to carry over the entire game. That generally the better plan against Wisconsin is to start man, and then when they are cold go to zone because they are hesitant to shoot. Next up MSU, hopefully this is Wisconsin's chance to ruin their year. To many times MSU has ruined Wisconsin's.

When I was younger I figured that all I needed was $6mil in the bank and I would never have to work again. I was pretty smart then so Ill stand by it, interest rates are lower but I could still make it work. So $6mil, I never work again.

The Bulls need to run plays on offense once in a while to try and get easy baskets.

Columbus would be a no go, just like Madison (Minneapolis would be the only likely exception to having it on campus.) Id say Cinci and Cleveland, the point is to get the Big 10 into as many areas as possible. Id even be fine with Philly (farthest trip for all fans), just because of the exposure.

Cleveland doesnt have a team, but OSU is kind of a big deal in Ohio.

I dont believe you can call a foul on a replay. So stupid. At least the refs called a soft one there.

This is the problem with basketball replay. The ref called it out on the Bucks because he didnt want to call a foul and give the Bulls 2 fts. Unfortunately now on replay they have to reverse it so its just a terrible call.

Id suspect you want the most opinions possible. Im pretty lazy so I may do a real legitimate top 10 where I do research etc, but after that Im just going to either a) copy another list, b) make it up based on my crazy opinions or most likely c) give up and post nothing.

Id say maybe start with 10 and then move from there.
